elven / dwarven armor ?

ok ive leveled to lvl 11 and im increasing my blacksmithing atm while i wait for my block and 1arm skill to increase to get the perks i want but which is best for someone who is an orc sword and shield user?

ive got perks in heavy armor so dwarven armor seems to be the right way , might save my perk point for later on then havnt seen any dwarven ore spots yet , but i think you can smelt just ordinary dwarven metal to make ingots cant you?

ok so im reading this and im wondering:where can u find the dwarven and elven ores because my guys lvl 6 and im a argonian and i got the perks when i was lvl three but i dont know where to find the ore do u know where to find it?

spyro111 - What Argetgarm said. Just a warning, but Dwarven scrap metals are rather heavy (the heaviest is 25 or 30 weight). The heavier stuff yields more ingots though. The lightest stuff needs two of them to make one ingot, if I remember correctly.

It'll probably take you several trips to be able to make everything (including weapons and such).

The ruins attached to the city to the far west has LOADS of scrap metal though. It has Falmer and traps in it though, and you need to get through a cave system first. There are a couple quests associated with this place too, as you can imagine.

Actually the lightest stuff makes 3 ingots with one piece (2 weight). It's crazy.

Seriously? That HAS to be a mistake on their part (since it somehow manages to INCREASE its mass?). Fantasy alchemy is one thing, but violating the law of conservation of mass in such a blatant way is just ridiculous.

How much does the heaviest stuff make?

I need to make the rest of my dwarven armor. I got the chest peice from that moon forge place and I want the rest. This was useful to know that it was not just the scraps, can you use any dwarven things to make the ingots? like bowls?

off-topic:Technically isn't dwarven armor actually elven? On topic: If you have a heavy armor char and use that i recommend dwarven armor and if light armor then elven armor (easy way to get elven armor is to kill thalmor)

How do you turn Ore into Ingot And where?
