	Log in to remove this advertisement I'm having some trouble as well with this quest, but with a different person. I'm suppose to intimidate Commander Maro, in the Dragonbridge settlement. Problem is, I've spoken with him before for killing off the Dark Brotherhood. Now, every time I go to speak with him, he'll only say, "I'll let the emperor know what you've done. You did a good thing for Skyrim." It's extremely frustrating and I have no save point prior to getting the job so I'm stuck with him. Has anybody else has him and had this issue, and-or know a solution for this?

	The hitting Dorian and running out is not working. There is never an option to talk, and then brawl.

	I tried doing the trick to lure Commander Maro outside. He just fights me and I can't make him stop nor can the guards kill him for me. Can anyone help me? Please?

	I got so pissed off with this quest, I tried all of the above, none worked. I tried the hit once and jump off boat, did not work, they all stayed on the boat, didn't follow.. In the end I got so angry and did a "killall" in the console, I failed, and got less than half pay, but I don't care, I'm sick and tired of these bugs..

	im supposed to intimidate Uthgerd the unbroken for the Hired muscle quest, but when i walked into her house she's already dead. i looked on another site for what im supposed to do but none of which worked either. nothing is triggered when i talk to farkas again after this.. im pretty lost

	What worked for me was using unrelenting force to knock Dorian into the water, them surrendering, then fast traveling back to the docks. He was just standing in the water (A major glitch.It would let me talk to him but it wouldn't let me brawl. I then went to the docks and shot him with an arrow. This made him run onto the docks and the brawl started immediately.

	I found a simple way past this glitch, hit Dorian once and run outside. When he is a reasonable distance from the door sheathe your weapon. He will accept your yeild and will begin walking back towards the door. At this point you can talk to him and get the brawl.

	He he:) I found a better way, If a NPC is talking to you while you get out of the room, the NPC will come out with you to to finish the sentence so all you have to do is to push Dorian near the door (or reenter until he is close to the exit door) and while he is telling you that you are not suppose to be there, you get out and he will finish the sentence out and then you can talk with him normally.

	I have a problem with the same dorian , but the quest is different , It`s under the miscellaneous category and says : "go to dorian in solitude and pick the item" , So can the same solution be applied ?

All the people in the ship and the guards will be after you so run to the end if the ship 3. Once you made sure he's out press the ~ on your keyboard then type (tcai) without parenthesis this will stop npc combat then press the ~ again 4. Then press ~ again to open the command console and type (tcl) without parenthesis this will turn the collision off so they can't move 5. Yeild to a guard and pay the fine of 40 6. Go back to the Guy and open the command console and enter tcai once again and talk to him. 7. Get in a fist fight with him and win 8. Go talk to farkas Hope this helped anyone on PC =) sorry if there are spelling errors my android hates me Or you could use console commands to advance the quest stage, since you have pc.
