Aha, well there's still the problem of having to sit right up to the computer screen. And I know, you can hook your computer up to a television and sit far away etc., but I'm not going to do all that. Console FTW!

Console, no matter how much better it will look on the PC it doesn't overcome the fact I have a armchair in front of my console and a office chair in front of the PC.

Solution: Move a recliner in front of the PC. Problem solved!

Hell no! One because it would hurt my already damaged back, and two because the recliner would clash with the decor in the dining room.

Solution 2: Hook computer up to tv.

I'll be playing on the console, mostly because my desktop is not built for gaming. Someday though...

They're on different floor, never mind rooms lol.

for me its the opposite ..
i like the controls for the PC playing a FPS like game.
a mouse is more accurate and i can look around faster.(high sensitivity on a controller just doesnt work for me)

also with the keyboard i can bind more keys than a controller, makes selecting a weapon or more easy..

Console (PS3) because I prefer the controller to the mouse. Plus I don't know if my laptop can run it. I'll have to admit there's a lot of fun things you can do with PC games though.

PC of course.

~I don't think we even own a console anymore. Maybe an old Playstation buried in the closet somewhere.
~I have a couple XBox controllers my oldest son likes to use for some games. I go for KB+Mouse though.
~We can upgrade our PCs as needed without forking out hundreds of dollars to buy a whole new unit.
~Mods are a really central aspect to gaming (for me) that consoles still don't have available.

Hey UNBEATEN, if you've got some peripherals laying around (old keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.) I could pretty easily set up a parts list for a budget machine that would play Skyrim nicely. I bet you could do it for well under $300 too. Newegg always has some nice combo deals.
Honestly, if you're not above curb-shopping, you might could even do it for under $100 if you find a good scrapped unit to start from. You'd be amazed at the kind of hardware people just set out at the street! Both my sons' computers were salvaged rigs I cleaned up and upgraded.

I'm getting it for Xbox 360. I wish I had a PC that could handle Skyrim in all it's glory, but I don't... so console it is.
