Eh, for Nords I just choose a Viking-esque name and add some descriptive after it. Kjuhnal Hairy-Brow is my current character.

Dunmer and Altmer (maybe Bosmer too, haven't actually ever played one in any TES game), I look at the *bleep*ed up chemicals they list on the back of hair products, like gel or wax, and just change letters around til' I get a cool sounding name.

Human races are pretty easy, cause, you know, here we are. And they all have obvious influences like the Nords do.

If you want viking-ish names for characters.. ask a norwegian.

I made a bunch of characters, my first Nord had a traditional Nord name, Jolovark, pronounced Yolovar. But my newest Nord, has the best name ever. Surely, I can't be the only one to name their character Texas Ranger?

I named my Dark Elf Swoffenheim, in the tradition of the Elder Scrolls games I've played.

Henry Ironfist, the Dunmer Warrior in Morrowind,
Johnny Fingers, the Dunmer Spellsword in Oblivion,
and Swoffenheim [the Conduit], the Dunmer Mage/Rogue in Skyrim.

I want to name something Mr. McBeard, preferably something that shouldn't have a beard but does anyway. I also name characters after my friends sometimes.

I normally use my real name because I can't think of anything else.

But the next charactor I'm gonna make is gonna be a mage. I think I'll call him either Merlin or Loki. And my character after that will be a warrior, I might name him Thor, or Gunthorian.
