Will enemies respawn in dungeons?

No respawning enemies? So once you kill all the enemies in the game, you win? I'll pass.

Someone asked Howard about that and he said that it will change, but not like in Oblivion. I wish I could find where he said it, but it's almost not worth quoting word for word because he didn't really explain anything.

same. Im certain that enemies will respawn in the wilderness but because nearly all console RPGs dont have dungeon respawns including fallout 3 im concered for skyrim. But in all honestly dungeons locking at your level wouldnt make sence if there were no respawns

Would be cool if there was a slider for this.

So you could set the respawn timer to 1 day or 1 month if you wanted and stuff.

I don't mind respawning enemies as long as there's a more defined way to tell if you "cleared" a dungeon. In oblivion by the time I beat the game and went dungeon diving, I was always a little unsure if I had been in a dungeon before. Especially after I travelled to most of them, I would spend over 15 minutes mapping to different places trying to find one I didn't delve into yet.

Maybe if you kill all the enemies and get all the loot in a dungeon the mini-map icon would turn green. If you only discovered it but didn't go into it it would be red. And if you went into it but didn't kill all the enemies or get all the loot it would be blue.

Then after you clear a dungeon the enemies and maybe loot will respawn. This is, at least, a better indication of exploration than simply "discovering" locations, i.e., running past them. It will make organization of where you have been and where you haven't much easier.

No one wants to spend half an hour looking for an uncleared dungeon.

They clearly need to find the perfect balance between having everything respawn and having nothing respawn once you've killed it once. See, I don't like having EVERYTHING respawn back to the way it was before I wrecked havoc, but at the same time, I don't want a dead and empty world within a couple of weeks. Both suck.

I think it'd be stupid if enemies didn't respawn. That was like, one of your main sources of income in Oblivion. Well for me anyways. Raiding a cavern, Rockmilk (I think) for example, and simply selling all the loot over and over again.

Not to mention all of the unique weapons/armour that enemies would sometimes carry, making looting a lot more interesting.
