Co-op would be awesome. I'd love working quests together, discussing plot points in-game, trading cool items. The fighting possibilities alone are worth drooling over! Distracting the enemy while my partner, a thief, sneaks round and quickly finishes them from behind. Or taking the damage while my mage friend pops off her wicked spells. Having someone else to make potions would simplify life greatly. In co-op, healing spells might actually be worth the investment, particularly if death is final.

Objections:
"It would ruin my game." - the simple answer to this is to play by yourself. No harm done. Keep up the lonely life.

? - are there truly any other objections that can't be solved by the same answer?

Will it be implemented? I doubt it. Unless they designed the world for multiplayer co-op from the beginning. But Brink has multiplayer, so here's hoping!

I wouldn't be too opposed to co-op, so long as it was the sort where you could just add someone in for added fun, rather than making it necessary. Though I haven't tried it, Fable II comes to mind.

An Elder Scrolls MMO might be interesting, but make it apart from the single player games.

Yeah it would be great if we could do coop quests and arenas. Fable 2 and Two Worlds had it. Even though Two worlds was s shit game the idea of coop in it was actually a cool idea.

if they do include multi player i hope it's something along the lines of PvP arena
and/or
co-op but fable style
e.g. someone leves their world and enters yours, they can't pick up or drop anything with out your permission.

IF they did it I would like to see an 'alternate demension' type portal, like the one to the Shivering Isles. This would lead to a town where you can trade, buy and sell items. You could set up a small stall in here and sell your goods. (Tax would be taken away from profits and you would have to pay rent on the stall, all done in Septims, or game money) Then you could also have an arena and a 'Trainer' are for those level 100 in a skill to help out those at lower levels in the same skill.

All this could be done in a lobby holding, oh, say 25 players, and you could change lobbies at want, searching for either arena specific, trainer specific, or trade specific lobbies.

I would like if the game randomly selected 8-16 players that are in the city you are in at that time, they don't affect your game, you can't talk to them and they can't get in the way but they are there to make the city feel more lived in.

That would be really cool. They would kind of be like the NPC's in Fallout that you cannot exchange dialogue with, such as the generic megaton settlers.

My only thought on multiplayer is that if they do any form of it then it better not talk away from the single player game. I doubt they will do it, but strangers, weirder and more disastrous decisions have occurred in the world.
