	Log in to remove this sponsored message To be honest, this has been one of the only games i have played in the Elder Scrolls series. I heard about the huge success of the previous game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and eventually stumbled upon the nexus, a place where honest mods were stored. Just browsing these mods made me want to buy oblivion. Thankfully Skyrim came out when it did, otherwise i may be playing what i had to save up for. I figured it would just be a matter of time before things were to get epic, so i bought Skyrim. Now, lets get down to it. Outright at first i swear i could hear the steriotypes rolling out as i started downloading it onto my steam. To my ultimate suprise when i played it, i got addicted to it, and more importantly didnt feel nerdy playing it. Not to say that being nerdy is a bad thing, as i could go on to blunder everything I know about videogames. I was expecting to feel like i was one of those types being critisized for playing it, as if they were in high-school playing Dungeons and Dragons. Today my main charicter is a level 70, and i have more than 70 mods that i could name off the bat. All thanks to The Skyrim Nexus, and its community. My game went from its vanella to what it is now ever since the very first mod came out. Though trial and error I have shaped the game to what I want it to be. And as a person who is more or less discrete about enjoying games like this, i would proudly talk about the people i've met, the things i've seen, and the adventures i've had to anyone who would start the conversation before me!

	Hello. This is just a new account I made, as my old one I lost the info for and couldn't bother to look it up. Anyway I love Skyrim and play it a whole lot more than probably recommended. I got it a little while after it came out and have played it endlessly since and I have all the DLC. It's a great game and I will continue to play it until the next elder scrolls comes out.

	Hi. New to the forum, veteran of the website. Tomorrow my copy of Skyrim will arrive in the post. Does anyone have any hints or tips as to what I should do at the start of the game? Or should I just get my head down and crack on with it? Not entirely new to the series, I played Morrowind on the old Xbox. ------------------- COYS!

	Hello all! My name is Lupa Voss, and I'm actually very new to the Elder Scrolls series. Skyrim was the first game of Besthesda's that I ever played and now I'm hooked. :/ Just wish I hadn't chosen the PS3 as my platform seeing as we still don't have any DLC to date. Oh well. Right now my character Lupa Voss is stuck at level 52 with 100 sneak, smithing, and archery. Makes me so frustrated at how I have to switch to one-handed now, at least I'm getting XP. That said my one-handed is nearing a hundred and I'll be forced to use two-handed. I'm wearing a full suit of Daedric armor and dual wielding ebony swords. Ain't no dragon gonna put me down! My followers are Argis The Bulwark and a dog I've taken to calling Leo. And I think that's it. Well, everything of interest that is. With Skyrim I found that you just have to find a play style that suits you, unlike Morrowind or Oblivion you don't have a set class to choose from so you can just drop perks where ever you please: this in mind you have to remember that you only get 81 perks. For me I like using a bow and stealth, but they maxed out at character level 50 because I used them so much- after a while I had to switch out my play style a bit just to get the experience to keep leveling up and so the game could be a little more challenging. I did find a handy little perk calculator so I could plan ahead for my 'perfect character' which was actually a lot of fun. I hope I helped at least a little bit! Enjoy Skyrim! -Cheers! -Lupa
