I'm now at Gran Soren; so much to explore in the town alone, let alone all of the areas outside it Decided to change my vocation on being given the opportunity to do so, switching to the Ranger(?) More focus on the Archery side and it generally being an 'advanced vocation' made it sound like a good option. Bit of a pain going back to rank 1 but that'll be fun to level up again, though the change of Skills now available worked out pretty badly - it looks like I would've kept all the Dagger related stuff (of which I've only bought 1 skill), but on switching to a Longbow, all the regular Bow stuff has gone of course (of which I'd bought all of), so I'm practically back to square 1
Switched Zhu Rong to the Archmage(?) too, though she kept all of her skills besides the healing I think (so definitely gonna be ensuring I have a Pawn who has that in my party!)
& it was nice to be able to buy some more gear too; Zhu Rong and me don't look quite as basic/awful now

Unless it has Leon in it, it's not worth it. Either way, I'd probably just wait, I'm not a huge fan in buying consoles straight after release and I'll only get it if it's backwards compatible with the PS3.

I was so very tempted to go for the 'Magic Archer', what with my favourite build having been the Rogue-Mage in Reckoning, but the idea of a Magic Bow seemed a bit odd... I think I'd rather have one entirely Rogue weapon and one fully Mage sorta thing; the amalgamation of the two vocations in the one weapon certainly makes for a true hybrid, but yeah, odd Definitely something I'll try somewhen though, perhaps in a second playthrough even
Am I right in remembering noticing that your latest character is an Assassin? (info courtesy of Gandalf) That does indeed look quite interesting, being able to retain the Rogue weapons (or even just the Bow) whilst getting access to some different skills. Not bothered about the Mystic Knight however

I'm loving the Power of the Longbow; was missing the 'increase reload speed skill' initially (having had it on the Bow), but have picked that up for the Longbow already, so all is good! Haven't got many Ranger skills yet, but haven't done much fighting yet having been exploring Gran Soren, so I'll take your word that more good ones will show up
Zhu Rong's still getting the better stuff haha; I do wish I'd bought the higher form of the Blinding Spell before switching vocations though, since it looks like she would've kept that one... I'm guessing I'd have to pay to switch from Sorcerer to Mage and back again?

& I like the healing spell! Agreed that the long casting duration is a bit of a pain, but even just as something to have post-battle I find it handy. That and I'm so stingy when it comes to using items; if I can heal somewhat for free, I'll always favour that

We already know it isn't, they've dumped the processor from the PS3 because it's too hard to port to so the quality of games declines.
