So, yesterday I was playing this game with a few friends, on the Lab (rocket launchers only) I kept getting blown up by my own team mates.
So, in the round after, I blew them both up straight away, completely caught them by surprise.

Hehe, ah it has been something that's crossed my mind on occasion, particularly those times when we're both avidly trying to get on the same game as much as possible or something (Uncharted) - I bet Toby would be happy for me never to have to touch his precious PS3 again as well But for the most part, the time I get on the PS3 is enough for me anyway, so it'd be a bit of an unnecessary expense to get my own, especially if it ended up involving buying second copies of games as well... it's not like I'd have anywhere to put it either

I don't have a TV in my room, Toby has the PS3 and I've always preferred being on the laptop whilst sat on the sofa to on my bed, so (appropriately), I 'live' in the living room and sleep in the bedroom... reading would be the only exception whether it be via book or Kindle, but that almost always happens in bed at night, directly before sleep, so it's all part of the bedtime routine to me anyway

jbh I have Rome I did indeed get it for my birthday from Dad; have seen the first 3 episodes so far and very much getting into it. Far too many lady-parts getting thrown in my face but aside from that, all is excellent

Guys i finally started Golden Abyss!

It's pretty good so far, got the funny dialogue and great characters, pretty dam similar in terms of combat and platforming. I'm definitely glad the touch screen / gyroscopic controls aren't mandatory, but i'm also glad they're there since i sometimes use them.

One thing i'm definitely impressed with so far is how crazy they've gone on 'collectibles'. There are 'mysteries' that you can solve, each requiring photo's of landmarks to be taken, charcoal rubbings to be pieced together, and artifacts to be found and examined. There's also the standard treasure sets to complete, and enemies have a chance in dropping bounty card type things, which are random, some are common while others are rare, and you can actually trade duplicate cards you've found with other people on the 'black market', in order to be closer to finishing a set. Haven't really looked into that much though. But all that really sets that treasure hunter vibe, which is what the PS3 games were missing tbh, the treasure hunting was really just in the cutscenes/story.
