Oh wow that does actually look great jbh I remember you saying the Far Cry games aren't tied together through story right? I'm safe to just get this one if it interests me? That being said though I may try to get into Far Cry 2 considering I got it for free, may as well add another game to an already long list

Here's some SP gameplay I found as well



Looking really smooth compared to 2, 2 suffered with a controller I found. Aiming was incredibly clunky with a lot of guns, definitely a mouse/kb friendly game. But that gameplay's on a 360. Obviously Far Cry is another game that takes the whole planning and executing the situation of a mission differently, which makes the whole game very interesting to mix stuff up with.

And the map editor is returning in 3 Vollando.

GaMeR BoY I've just installed it, I'll give some impressions after I play it in a bit. The dev diaries for the game impressed me because the animation range was on par with some amazing titles coming out in the future.

The beta is really really fun, it has a lot of usual beta issues. And sadly the game runs on Ubisoft servers. But apart from that I'm really enjoying it, the best TPS multiplayer I've played in a long time no doubt. And the general feel of the game is really refreshing, even though it admittedly takes good mechanics from a lot of games. Anyone with UPlay I highly suggest you check your emails and give it a crack.

As for Far Cry 3...well it's looking pretty good, but I didn't like FC2 that much. It was an open-world FPS, which was cool, but damm, save points were super rare and it took forever to drive to different places. That's kinda cool, and more realistic, but not when I'm spending as much time driving as actually playing/shooting/missions.
And I got it late, so the MP was pretty much dead.

I thought it looked too much like Battlefield 3.5 really, I used to love playing the medal of Honour games on PS2 though so I'll keep an eye on that too. I probably will try Far Cry 2 again, I just don't know when, trying to get through Dark Souls at the moment and I'm starting to get more hours in work, which is good but it means a lot less gaming time too

I'll probably get crushing done sometime soon as well, will feel good to have the trilogy all plat up.

I finished downloading it, but something went wrong with the installation I think, so I have to do it all over again. Probably because I haven't torrented a game in ages.

jbh Looks pretty cool, kinda like GTA meets Assassins's Creed meets Yakuza. It's lucky we have similar game tastes, no-one else here is inside my timezone.
