Artirtico could've sworn you said you had Storm 2. Maybe it was Sam. Urgh, those Within Temptation tracks are 'unpleasant noise' to me; just can't stand long orchestral songs.

Anyway I don't just listen to Hard Rock/Metal, I like certain tunes from a variety of genres.

Btw, who's this Sean guy? Doesn't sound familiar. Anyway, going by last Friday, everyone's playing other games instead.

I'm on the fence about The Killers, I don't hate them by any standards but I wouldn't say I like them... I certainly would listen to some of their songs more than twice, put it that way. Muse are amazing though I tend to love bands that have the "Muse sound", that's why I'm liking Dear Hunters at the moment. Coheed and Cambria would be another example.

jbh Oh right that'd be it then, I knew it was from one of my racing games. And Muse are amazing yes. Certainly my second favourite after The Killers. I'll have to look into those other bands that have the 'Muse Sound' then, since they could be great.

Kastor yup amazing. Definitely a high one in terms of Killers songs. Honestly I don't think I dislike any of their songs really. Obviously some I like less but they're still good.

LIKE Though yes, a lot of Paramore's stuff is great, and I like some of P!nk's too; typically less doom and gloom compared to the more metal-esque stuff (though both have some great emotional tracks too)

I'M the bigger 30STM fan who went to see them live jeez 'Watercolour' is decent; not the sort of thing I'd choose to listen too, but I'm happy to do so all the same. Haven't really heard a lot of Pendulum's stuff actually... I can see myself having a similar opinion overall.

Sam has a lot of the Naruto games so yup, I imagine it was him Aww, I love having the orchestral integration to the regular Rock stuff; keeps things much more interesting when you've got something melodic in amongst the more typical guitar rhythms, thus why Evanescence & Within Temptation suit me nicely I guess That type of vocal is much more my kind of thing too... I like my Rock but not when it boils down to *chug chug chug* "BLLLEEEAAARRRGGGGHHHHHH"
& I rather enjoyed 'Perform This Way' >>>>>>>>> Avenged Sevenfold


The Killers (and particularly Brandon Flowers) are my most hated music artists of all time - his voice is excruciatingly painful to hear

Does anyone here listen to music that isn't metal/hard rock?

Most of the stuff I like tends to have at least a slight Rock element, whether that stems from something Pop, Alternative, a ballad/power ballad type thing or more fully Rock, but I've not got that much in the way of metal actually...
I've got some more variety than that though - the Rock stuff tends to be what most people on here seem to listen to is all, so I'm sure they'd appreciate my other stuff even less than the likes of Evanescence

So stepping away from Rock, something 'happy pop', something 'dance' and something 'soft/pretty':







Though from what I remember of your music taste, none of that is gonna be any good either
