But 3 or 4 players on the same map would be pointless unless you were on opposite teams or something. You'd absolutely clean up the computer.

On another note, I fell in love with Zhang Liao all over again after He Fei.

To be honest i'm really not liking how they do the difficulties anymore.

All they do is upgrade the damage everyone does to you. If they took it up any more from master then privates would probably kill you in two hits. They really need to fix that IMO.

At least back in DW3/4 you could withstand a few hits before dying on the hardest difficulty.

Was doing Chi Bi with Zhou Yu. Fighting Zhang Liao on the boats, and somehow or other I wound up in the water. But I can only move around as if I was still on the boats(Based on the minimap). Meaning I can never get out of the water.

In DW7XL or Legends , i'd like to see more online multiplayer modes. These days only FPS games (namely COD and it's many rip-offs) get people competitive- millions pack the online servers. We need some versus modes (think DW4's 'dark room' battle and one-on-one mulitplayer modes) and objective based games. So yeah, more in-depth multiplayer all the way! How easy could it be to just slap online compatibility onto DW4's multiplayer modes?

I can see what you mean- leave him out of the main game, only to bring him back with his own few story-stages in DW7XL. But my question would then be- why would they only leave out (and subsequently bring back) Pang De alone? If it was a marketing move they would've left out a few more warriors- Guan Suo, perhaps, or Bao Shanniang. Definitely Ma Dai. Then it would have been a sweet package of new stories/warriors in the expansion.

I'd also like to see a complete disc of HD-remade stages from DW3 and DW4 to inhabit with DW7 characters, in a Conquest/Legends-style mode. That would be Heaven!

Well they are new. They still might bring in new characters for Empires or something, but we have no prior knowledge of them in the DW universe. Returning people like Pang De have already generated a fan base and are more likely to attract attention over someone who has never been introduced before. So they still could introduce someone new, but Pang De is the one I would want to see most. That being said, if Guan Suo and Bao Sanniang didn't make it into DW7 and were instead introduced in an expansion, I would not buy that expansion. They are basically the worst characters in the series right now IMO anyway. If that's all Koei had to offer, I would not be picking it up. I'm sure many would though.

The latest PSN news is exciting. According to a recent press release Sony apologizes with free downloads and free month of Playstation Plus!

Weird. Kind of reminds me of the never-drowning horse glitch of DW4 (at Chi Bi, ride horse to bridge that will be detonated, dismount and retreat. Once cut-scene ends, your horse is at the bottom of the lake) or the DW5 Sima Yi running-over-mountains glitch (his third charge pulled him forward so he could escape over some invisible barriers of level design).
Still haven't got DW7 ()... did they keep the swim function of DW6, or is it back to ankle-deep water everywhere?

Have to agree with this. I wouldn't mind if there was some indication that your player was taking damage- is it because i'm equiped with combat resistance that i'm not flinching when hit by arrows?

I seem to run along after battling an enemy officer (and losing some health) and there are archers in the distance... suddenly i look at my health bar and it is RED!! I'm like: "WTF HAPPENED TO MY HEALTH?!" The damage taken would be acceptible if there was a sign you were taking damage at all!

On another note: i would like to see the return of the FPS bow attack from DW3. What would be wrong with turning some aspects of DW into a third person shooter? Imagine Huang Zhong/Xiahou Yuan's stages being in a third person shooter style? Over-the-shoulder aiming, blasting away at tonnes of troops from far away like a real archer! It would add tonnes more variety to gameplay

Yeah this damage thing is getting out of hand now.

Your run of the mill soldiers die in one hit most of the time on hard (Haven't tried above hard yet) Run up to a big assed group of enemies, do your SSSSSS combo and rack up near 100 KO's? Ridiculous. Same with one musou attack.

They're trying far too hard to promote mass carnage, and to be honest I preferred it the way it used to be.

Agreed about the archers too, it's irritating not being able to tell when you're being hit. I'm in the same boat, smash an officer without being hit by anyone, then look down and BAM, near dead. It's nothing to do with combat resistance, as I don't use that.

At least in DW3 you could tell when they were hitting you.
