You shouldn't presume, my friend. The video was actually Liu Bei's response to the idea that DW8 will be a PS3 exclusive, and will not be coming oversees. Looks like the benevolent ruler isn't a big fan of that idea

I finally got the game and I am mostly struck in awe of how incorrectly I've evidently been pronouncing the names incorrectly all these years!

For instance, Zhang He isn't "Zhang Hey" but "Zhong Her." Chi Bi is "Chur Bay" and there is much more inflection in what was once single syllable names. Like Xiahou Dun is "Do-en."

Lu Meng = Loo Mong
Sun Ce = Soon Sir
Sun Quan = Soon Chwin (rhymes with "twin"!)
Sima Shi = Sima Shir

Yeah, it isn't "See-ma", but "Simma" as in the cooking term "simmer." So many invisible consonants!

And the story mode is superb! Sure, it is thin in terms of stage content (the Nanman campaign was barely a mention), but the presentation is great. Those in-between map scenes really put things in clear perspective like no DW has done before.

After conquering the three kingdoms I'll start Jin next and then it is off to Conquest mode.

dunno if anyone has asked this question but is it possible to get LU BU as a usable character like on the other DW games??.

Yes. Very much. He's usually the last unlockable character.

ah thank god looks like ill have to grind for him then. seen as though i have used him in all other DW games. i also used tadakatsu honda in the samurai warriors games if u ever played them.
