ive played wu, shu and wei at the moment and jiang wei is without a shadow of a doubt the best to play for shu, its a toss between zhang liao and xiahou dun for wei though yuan has the best musou and for wu gan ning hasnt let me down yet again

I definitely prefer Zhuge, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei to Jiang Wei.

My favorites haven't changed any. Some people have stepped up or down moveset wise, but their personalities really haven't changed.

1. Lu Bu still tops, and is still a beast even if his regular attacks and running attacks have taken a big downgrade. His charge attacks make up for it as well as the pure strength of his musou attacks.

2. Zhou Yu, while a step down from the badass he was in 6, is still up there. I was glad they kept him with the staff.

On the beast status along with Lu Bu, I would say Zhang Liao as stated and Deng Ai. Ai is a slower attacker, but causes damage and has the most deadly EX attack hands down. Zhang Liao has the better moveset, and a simple and boring EX attack that makes him that much more deadly.

Of the new characters, I don't care for most of them. Deng Ai is enjoyable, and though I don't like Zhong Hui's look, I can live with his stuck up ego driven personality. Other than them, the only real ones I enjoyed are Sima Shi and Jia Xu. Yuanji isn't so bad either.

Always been Ma Chao, but as someone just said Jia Xu is preetty badass. Also Lu Bu looks pretty cool, especially on red hare.

Jai xu is amazing for a character i was forced to play im glad it was him tbh you should have fun

After playing most of the Shu campaign, I don't seem to mind Guan Suo. I always expected him to be the "I must honor father" type in the same way Xing Cai is. But to me his is a character I like who I didn't expect to.

I ike his armor in each DW game Ma Chao is a cool character I like his ultimate spear and armor especailly thatt he is on 1 of tha greatest forces and thas SHU

Lu Xun definitely. That EX attack is buff and i am being incredibly biased. Just saw Lu Bu's move set and i think i just had an orgasm in pure awe. I strangely love Guan Ping. Annoyed me how slow the great sword is at first, but when you gain the great sword master skill, it becomes powerful. Love it to destroy peons, no holds barred.
