Downloadable Content [DW7 DLC] - now in all territories! - Page 10

Updates to the US DLC Page show some insight into the weapon rank pack 1 among other things:

COSTUME PACK 3
Use costumes from DYNASTY WARRIORS 4 for all 42 characters who appeared in the game. Furthermore, Cao Pi, Ling Tong, Guang Ping, and Xing Cai are included, too.


^ Without the bulky armor, Cao Ren appears to have the arms of an orangutan.

WEAPON RANK PACK 1
Complete new scenarios in Conquest Mode to acquire new versions of 35 different weapons from the game, and 5 downloadable weapons for players who have downloaded those weapons.

Flying swords, great sword?, throwing knives (fish), gloves (buddha), flute, double voulge, club (gold fist), twin rods (pandas), halberd, twin swords

STAGE PACK 2
Play the 'Changban' and 'Guandu' stages in CONQUEST MODE, with 3 scenarios remastered from DYNASTY WARRIORS 2 for each stage. The 'Changban' stage includes the 'Battle of Changban', 'Destruction of Changban' and 'Escape from Changban' scenarios. The 'Guandu' stage includes the "Battle of Guandu","Capture of Guandu" and "Invasion of Guandu" scenarios.

NEW STAGE AND BGM PACK 2
This pack features a brand new stage for Conquest Mode: Ji Castle! Three distinct scenarios are available to be played out on this stage, the home of the King of Nanzhong, Meng Huo. Additionally, 8 BGM music are included, featuring tracks from DYNASTY WARRIORS 4 and DYNASTY WARRIORS 5.

I got most of the DLC,and for the latest one,I got the costume pack since I'm a sucker for costumes.I now realise-I missed my chance to make Wang Yuanji throw fish around.I only have around 1 pound left so I can't get the weapon pack.Damn!

I second that. He seems like a true leader now, and has his own doubts and troubles, actually having some decent character development. His new face gives alot more expression than his old goateed, blank-faced character model.

Just got the latest batch of DLC and getting back into the groove of things in Conquest. Haven't played it in awhile, but God it feels so good to be kickin ass with Lu Meng, and a variety of badass costumes from the older games to kit him out in! Giving Yue Ying and others some de-cloned movesets is an excellent move too, although i'm beginning to wonder if i am being robbed? It seems DW7XL is going to include alot of sprucing these cloned movesets and weapons up- am i paying for DLC that will come on the XL disc anyway?

DW4:XL is probably the most fun I've had with Dynasty Warriors in general (the individual character missions were great -- no items!!). Sure, DW3 has its big grand moments. But DW4 was just spectacular fun. I know everyone hated dueling, but it was done pretty well and is much more like the book.

Btw... what the hell happened to items? Are they still in the game, I can't even remember.

Today in Japan, DW fans get another dose of nostalgia. It seems September will be a good month for DW3 fans...
