Introduction Thread

It's not about characters/design for me. It's how the gameplay is.

But Gotenks here, I kind of like a couple of the character models we have seen so far. Been a DW fan since I first played the 4th one.

ShadowGuard here. The gameplay is what it is, if you dont like it, you should not be a fan of the series. Sure, there is plenty of things they could do, but the basic concept of 1 vs 1000 is going to stay the same.

Hopefully a better story and character interaction for the next game. Much too corny and much too cliche in the past games.

Artirtico here, DW3 was my first warriors game. I didn't like what happened with DW6 (particularly the removal of Zhu Rong) so didn't buy it, instead playing and loving Warriors Orochi 2...Zhao Yun and Zhang Liao are awesome and I've been wanting to see Deng Ai playable for ages = me in a nutshell

I did in the end buy DW6: Empires to get a feel for the renbu fighting system thingy and see the characters but wasn't keen overall, so essentially I'd personally like to see the general gameplay reverting back to something more similar to DW3/5

I'm a noob to DW forums on Neo really, but a long-time die-hard fan of Dynasty Warriors! Call me Dantess!

DW has been mediocre since DW4, although i thoroughly enjoyed Empires, both 5 and 6. DW6E was the series' redeeming point of late.

I feel DW7 is going in the right direction!

The mechanics of the gameplay have remained far from static though. In particular there's big issues with the damage ratios and attack/defense stats in subsequent games.

I'm Deathman48, quite looking forward to see how this game gets along since they've had a go at using the PS3/360 hardware once now. DW3 was the game that brought me to Neoseeker in the first place.

I was ready to give up on DW after 6, fully thought it was a massive step backwards.

But this looks too good to pass up thus far, so once again i'm back.
