I'll spoil a bit of the below video and say there's about 20,000 students right now that have Minecraft...as part of their education. In order to not spoil, muddle, or mis-represent the rest of the video, I'll let it speak for itself: What do you guys think? I think it's pretty cool. Creativity and innovation is not a burden solely on students in classes, which is something I find a lot of teachers and professors...forget. Their job isn't to be a textbook, or a grading rubric, we have those already. It's to make the topics relatable, interesting, to cultivate discovery and curiosity in the minds of students. While Minecraft certainly isn't the only, or perhaps in many cases, the best way to do so, it is certainly an undeniably good tool. other ------------------- [twitter]

	In my senior English class a couple years ago, we had non-traditional book report assignment. I ended up recreating scenes from the book in Minecraft, complete with talking NPCs of the characters. ------------------- www.neonshift.com

	I think it's great.Unlike most of the conventional games, minecraft gives you the option to build and create stuff, which provides endless possibilities. It's great that minecraft is used for more than just a simple game.
