xbox Sticky, slimy, spawny goodness

i was reading some stuff last night about it, and apparently slimes only spawn 16 blocks or more below the surface, the space your digging not only has to be 16 blocks down, but i guess it has to have a certain width to it too, one person said they just dug down to bedrock, then hollowed out a big area and they're able to find slimes more easily... oh yeah i also heard there's only a 10% chance of slimes spawning in the area that you made, so the bigger your area the better chance you have... (i think)

so after about 4 days of blowing stuff up at bedrock level and some hardcore searching and still not finding any slimes i realized there is a slime finder app... so i went there and entered the seed to my map (make sure if your seed number begins with a - (minus sign) to include that as well) then a grid popped up with green squares and coordinates that mark where slimes chunks are, then i got on MC and went to the co-ords, dug down to bedrock, then placed 5 blocks under me so i wasn't at bedrock level, and dug a room that spans the length and width of the co-ords and also made the room 3 blocks high and completely leveled out, after about a half-hour and 2 nights of minecraft sleep, i found 3 slimes!!! only got two slimeballs out of it, but with the duplication glitch i can make more... i'll post a screenshot next time some more spawn... here's the link for the slime finder...

^well that's just lucky i guess.. for some reason i've never been able to find any until i used the slime finder, and i've put quite a few hours into this game
