xbox Minecraft for Xbox360 to receive skin pack DLC

I had heard of this on the MMO-Champion Minecraft sub-forum, so I brought the topic here for discussion.

Your thoughts? The DLC is said to include 40 skins. The downside to this is that it will cost MSpoints and not be a free download. No doubt many of you are aware that skins in Minecraft's PC version are all community made and free to use. I personally don't like this. Ports are rarely equal but also are rarely so for a good reason. It's possible prospective buyers who do their own research will choose the PC version to avoid nickle and dime DLC like this.

I'm a PC gamer now. I do my best to play on the PC, save for instances where there's no PC version or if I'm unsure mine can run something at acceptable quality. I still feel bad for those who will have to pay up to Microsoft for something as simple as skins. Not only that but for many people it seems a PC is still something alien and mysterious that's impossible to understand, which is why people often have outdated laptops for browsing the internet and that's it. It makes it more likely that people will simply grab the Xbox360 version, and get robbed by yet another nickle and dime DLC scheme. I know Microsoft, along with many other large corporations, are largely driven by greed but I had no idea they tried to bully Mojang out of free updates to their IP... That's just disturbing and something I hope comes to bite them in the ass in some way.

I don't want it unless I can make my own.
