	Log in to remove this sponsored message Hey guys! Notch hasn't, for some weird reason, made a Minecraft update in a few weeks. Then I think: "What will 1.3 be like?". So I was wondering for your opinion... I know it'll have editable books, which sounds pretty cool. But what else does Minecraft have to offer. 	1. Jeb is head of Minecraft development now. 2. They release snapshots which are unofficial releases which will mostly have bugs and bug fixes and quite a lot of new content. Everything in the snapshots so far will be in Minecraft 1.3. Anyways, might wanna study up on your Minecraft news dude. You only hearing about editable books means you've only heard of what 1.3 will be like from a friend. -------------------

	For the first time, I'm keeping myself in the dark for the most part. It makes waiting for the new update that much more exciting. :p I do know there will be editable books, pyramids, and ender chests though.

	...You know, there are no fake snapshots. All the snapshots are legit, or at least most of them are. Usually you can find the latest snapshots, as well as pretty much everything else related with Minecraft at www.minecraftforum.net. These are the official Minecraft forums, and if you look on the frontpage for a minute or 2 you can find the latest snapshot download as well as some info on what it has. -------------------

	From your reply to Dream, it sounded like you thought the snapshots were pictures. They're actually mini, weekly, optional updates with the various things Mojang fixed and added. On the minecraft forums, they usually include a semi-full changelog of them. ------------------- I have the strangest interests: Includes The Walking Dead, Pokemon, Doctor Who, Ace of Spades (Original one), MLP(Current one), Minecraft, Glee, and Prof. Layton.* Jeez, I'm an odd guy.*

	Just saying, Minecraft 1.3 is going to be AWESOME! It's (in the words of BebopVox) like Adventure Update 2.0. So much vanilla stuff is going to be added in, that the use for mods in Let's Plays will be almost unneeded! (Of course it's still more interesting with mods.) Also tubendo If you want screenshots/videos of 1.3, there are none yet, just videos and some screenshots of the latest SNAPSHOT. In this case, a snapshot is an unofficial update put out by the Mojang team for their players to test them for bugs and glitches, etc.. I'm sorry I didn't make myself more clear to you tubendo (Even though I really didn't need to...) EDIT: By Unofficial update put out by Mojang, I mean it doesn't appear in the launcher, nor do you have the choice of updating to it from the Minecraft launcher. You manually download it, and put it in the correct area in your .minecraft. Edit: Jul 02, 12 7:13pm -------------------

	Mojang get moaned at if they release updates every week, they get kmoaned at if they dont. So they came to the middle ground", a FULL update every few months, with snapshots (versions of future versions of the game that arent ready for full use yet) every week. The snapshots allow players to test the additions to the game before they are forced upon people. One exceptional reason for this is back in 1.9 beta snapshots (back then called pre-releases), when one caused the use of a furnace to destroy the world, so that caused problems,and if that had been a full release many people would be angry, but because it was a snapshot they knew they were risking their saves by using it.
