questions Bukkit Server: Plugins not Working

EDIT: I fixed that, and that problem isn't appearing in the console anymore. However, I scrolled up, and it's still saying "[SEVERE] Could not load plugins/EssentialsSpawn.jar in folder 'plugins'"

So it's still having trouble loading.</sup>

I think I see the problem. You're on a mac. You went to the page that tells you how to make a bukkit server, and just did the first code that showed up most likely, which was Windows. You need to follow the instructions on making a bukkit server on a mac, which is just under the code for Windows.

What version is your craftbukkit jar? It may be the cause of the problem. (Like what other people said). If it's your plugin version problem, try using CraftBukkitUpToDate to check for the new versions. If not download Essentials spawn again from Bukkit, make sure it's the correct version. If all these doesn't work, just get plugins from bukkit which have features for home and spawn, but seriously essentials is much better. You can actually get people basic server files by the way, I downloaded one which had the basic plugins installed and all those craftbukkit generated stuffs, it works well!
