	Log in to remove this sponsored message Our current Header and Footer combination is something that has been stuck in time for almost a year now. To see them depart may be a shame to some, but like the game itself we must update! So without further rambling welcome to the Minecraft Header and Footer contest! Guidelines and rules: -All headers may be no more then 230 pixels tall and 120KB in file size. -The footer has no size limits but should remain similar in size to others found around the site. -All submissions are required to be child friendly (this is Minecraft) and contain the word "Minecraft" in it. Html coding in the header IS allowed but not necessary in order to have an integrated header/hotbar found in various forums such as this one and this one. If you choose to use html in yours please put that in your post with the submission. -All submissions are due June 4th at 11:59PM Eastern Standard Time or sooner depending on the volume of submissions received. After the due date voting will follow. I will edit a PM link under each submission in this post to vote for it. That's not an image that's an Adobe Flash Object, which would probably take up more than 120KB and not everyone has Flash installed, so it may not display for some people. 	That file size limit was put in place back when Neoseeker started back in the early 21st century when dial up was commmon. 	120kb is still only a guideline afaik. While it's still a good idea to keep the images as small as possible, I'm sure nobody would mind if it one went slightly over the limit. ------------------- www.neonshift.com

	in regards to Dreamare's animation idea, while a flash file is large and not everyone can make it, an animated .GIF (while it has less quality then a standing .png or .jpg) is relatively easy to make, as for size however, it may still go over the "suggested" 120 kb

	For what it's worth, a 120 kb size restriction is one of the silliest rules I have ever seen. Nobody runs on shitty internet any more, unless you're in some poverty country. My phone, which runs off its own data plan etc has slow internet can show gifs of 1mb+ fairly easily, and within 10 seconds. Neo really needs to abolish such stupid rules (same with upping the sig limits tbh). Just my 2 cents. Edit: May 15, 12 5:31am
