	What do you mean by ad-ons, like full updates to minecraft, or would it be more like DLC that some people get for free. As in if I dont pay for the add-on, but a server has it, I wont be able to play on that server, or just little things, like a new hat or something?

	i dont think notch would make us pay for more of the game after release i think the extra stuff we can pay for is oging to be like capes or other extra character stuff like deadmau5's ears. -------------------

	Thats what I was assuming, because it would be kind of unfair to make us pay for the game twice.

	I bought the game way back in Alpha, so it doesn't bother me. I assumed it was stuff like full 0.*.0 updates, like the jump from 1.7.3 to 1.8.0 that Beta buyers would have to pay for, like DLC once the full game is released. -------------------

It almost certainly does entail paying for real content updates. There was a post on Notch's tumblr ages ago about this topic, and it basically stated that he would love to give updates away for free, but his lawyers cringe at that. I'm also fairly sure he would love more money.

It isn't like you'll be paying another $20 for each update/dlc..... And seriously, (I'd imagine) you pay for console video games, and those are $60 before tax and dlc is CERTAINLY not free. Why are you complaining? & ChaosFire : Where...? Unless you mean the promise ages ago that Alpha purchasers would receive free updates. That is 100% valid.
