Legolas777 Chekkaa said before that KOSDFF had enough posts, even though he only had 10. I personally think it should be around 50, or even 100, but there aren't too many dilemmas where it's unsure if a member is allowed or not.

So basically, it's only really guests that are banned. The new members aspect is just enforced because sometimes the guests could merely create a new account to advertise.

That's my take on it anyways.

I'm considering starting a "newbie" server thread server repository for new posters who want to get traffic for their servers can post on. I feel the real issue with new users posting servers is the issue of unnecessary threads, but I feel if we add a thread we can minimize the server threads, while also providing a thread in which curious players can find a server.

True, just a suggestion.

What do you mean, "a new thread isn't really warranted"? It's a new topic that can be talked about. It's what the forum is for. Making new threads for each update actually sounds a lot easier than a general update thread anyway, because it's more organized. A general update thread would always be full of old information. Making new threads for each update ensures that only relevant information is found there.

Go ahead, make a 1.8 thread.

If it does get buried, then you can either bump it or make a new thread. Bumping is fine if it's for a good reason.

1. I said it would probably take about a week. The new RC of Bukkit was literally just released a few minutes ago. It's then going to take a while for all the plugin devs to make their plugins work with the new Bukkit version, and then it's going to take me a little while to try and iron out all the new bugs.

2. In the future, please only discuss my server in it's thread.
