	Log in to remove this sponsored message So, what does everyone use as their Launcher? I mean, I know a lot of phones come with great default launchers, HTC's Sense being up there. However, there are many other launchers out there, which I personally think are better. I use LauncherPro Plus, as it's just extremely simple, customisable, and most of all, minimalistic. I totally suggest you give it a go. Spoiler: LauncherPro Spoiler: LauncherPro App Drawer There's also ADW Launcher, which is pretty nifty as well, but not as... subtle as LauncherPro. I don't use it, but my housemate swears by it. Spoiler: ADW Launcher Spoiler: ADW Launcher App Drawer SlideScreen is another, it's very pretty, and doesn't require homescreens, but I got bored with it, pretty quickly. It is, however useful for checking your social networks easily... and stocks, if you use them. Spoiler: SlideScreen I'm not logged into anything here, it looks better with stuff logged in... Spoiler: SlideScreen App Drawer Up the top there are a bunch of slots for whatever apps you want, for easy access. The last I've used is Go Launcher, which is pretty much a slightly different version of ADW Launcher, that looks a bit more like LauncherPro Spoiler: Go Launcher Spoiler: Go Launcher App Drawer The Kite UI isn't out yet, as it's still being developed, but it looks amazing. 	Anyone had much experience with ADW? I've started having a bit of trouble with it... I downloaded the Gingerbread Blue theme and really liked it, but when I attempted to add a widget to the home screen (can't remember what widget now) I got into a loop of force closes. I managed to get to the settings menu to uninstall the theme, but it started to force close again when I attempted to apply it. The same happened with another theme. It seems that the launcher works fine when using the default theme, but suddenly goes into a loop of FC's when I attempt to change it. I've tried reinstalling the launcher and themes several times but to no avail. Does anybody know how I can fix this?

	Odds are it's due to just having such a large number of apps, or low internal memory. Mine has never forced close, but whenever I go to create a shortcut on my home screen (when using ADW) it literally takes a good minute, minute and a half for the list of apps to come up. However, that's just creating shortcuts. Adding widgets aren't a problem. Have you used any other launchers? Might want to give another launcher a shot. Reading through the reviews on the market, someone had problems with ADW lagging/force closing on their phone, but they said GO Launcher worked fine for them. ------------------- last . fm

	Yeah, I've used LP before and went back to that today. Tried GO Launcher briefly today but I think I prefer LP. Shame ADW has stopped working properly though. It seemed to run pretty well on my phone (obviously before the FC's). Liked the theme I was using too

Some custom ROMs for phones have a "Tablet Mode" if you want to try to give a phone that look and all. Though to my experience, everything looked very tiny in a tablet mode (Samsung Galaxy S2). -------------------

	Last year I used ADWLauncher for a couple of months, then I changed to Go Launcher EX, but got bored of it, so I install Launcher7 (it basically makes your phone's homescreen look the same as a Window Phone's), but it got annoying, so I upgraded to ADWLauncher EX, which I am currently using. ------------------- Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/Sl0anerB0ner PSN ID: HoodedSolidSnake
