	My problem is Samsung is SO slow at releasing phone updates. It took Motorola and HTC about a month to release FroYo (2.2) for their phones. The Galaxy S line of phones has been out for 6 months, and most owners still don't have Froyo.

	For most people, updates don't matter. They don't care about new features, just that it can do what they want, now. The thing with Android is that updates are not only from the manufacturer but also reliant on the carriers which typically slows down the process even more or they just refuse to offer an update to promote the latest Android phones. That's your "freedom" with Android. But since it is open source, people are always rooting devices and allowing the latest versions to run. ------------------- Check out the Android Forum!

	The LG Ally was rumored to get the upgrade to andy 2.2 but never got it. Now they say they are skipping 2.2 for compatibility issues and going to 2.3 when it's ready. So it's still 2.1 update 1 for me for awhile. 	I was sick of using 2.1 when so many phones have FroYo already, so I started using a custom ROM on my Vibrant.

	Any of you lads got a Desire HD? I'm going to (hopefully) place an order on one tomorrow and was wondering what everyone thought of it? 	milleniummanp7, I found that the screen for the Desire HD is just slightly too big, and to be honest, rather unnecessary. I mean, I have the original Desire and my housemate has the Desire Z. They both have 3.7 inch screens and they're perfect both to hold and use one handed. If you do decide against the Desire HD, I wouldn't really recommend the Z too much either, as the tangible keyboard doubles the thickness of the phone, and isn't really all that good. Personally, out of the three, I'd stick with the Desire, as it's every bit as good as the others, but without the new Sense... which, if you use LauncherPro (which most people would suggest you do) won't be a problem anyway. P.S: I think that the Xperia x10 series phones are kinda ugly, too... and don't they still only run 2.1? Dark Dom, is it you who has an x10? ------------------- Android Forum \| Twitter \| Last.FM

	Have you got stuff like Google Sky Maps and that? I mean, you can get Angry Birds for free, and I have a pretty comprehensive SNES, Megadrive, GBA and GBC library on my phone, and I'm not sure how easy that is to do on an iTouch.
