I used to develop for the iPhone but I got sick of typing square brackets in Objective-C so I'm considering giving Android development a go. I can't wait for some decent Android tablets to come out (or are there already gooduns out there?). Smart-phones are of limited interest to me, tbh. first post

I personally thought about jumping to Android earlier this year, but then I remembered Windows Phone 7 which is what I am pretty much 100% set on getting as soon as a device is available on Sprint. I do however keep up with the devices and what not, I just don't find the OS all that appealing /runs ------------------- Check out the Android Forum!

	Hey I'm DreamCrafter I'm 14 nearly 15, I'm a Musician from England and I'm currently the Trumpet player for Hairspray on tour and Dep for High School Musical on tour. I have an iPhone but I also have an HTC Desire. 	I'm Akira, and I usually don't do introduction threads, but making an exception here. I contribute news now and then for Neoseeker, but now mostly deal with new game profile submissions and keeping GameGrep under control. Proud owner of a HTC Incredible, and I started looking into Android development over the summer. Even cooler is the fact that one of the projects in one of my graduate classes is to create an Android application. It should spearhead my foray into Android :) Once I land a job I hope I can do more, or at least start to code on the side (a habit that I need to pick up) ------------------- Play-Asia!

I just currently bought myself one of those 7" tablets. Currently runs Eclair quite well, I bought it to replace my Toshiba Gigabeat as my portable media player, and I must say, I'm not disappointed! My tablet is a HSG X5A, a Chinese brand, and for the money, it does a hell of a lot. I'm sure if I bought from a more 'reputable' seller, I'd probably get more polish, but for $200, I got myself: Full HD screen HDMI output 32GB SD card slot WiFi *Complete audio and video compatibility (including the MKV container) As a portable media player, I couldn't ask for much more to be honest! Should last me a good few years at the minimum, until the latest and greatest tablet comes out!
