In a post on the Playstation Blog, Jakub Dvorsky, founder of Amanita Design has announced that the critically acclaimed indie title, Machinarium will be making its way to to the PS Vita.
The point and click adventure, which follows the exploits of the Josef as he tries to save his girlfriend from the Black Cap Brotherhood, was originally released for the PC in 2009. A subsequent “ultimate version” was released for PS3 over PSN last year.
Although there were no specifics, the PS Vita is said to improve on the PS3 “ultimate version,” making use of the portable system’s touch screen and rear touch panels. It will also have leaderboard support to see who’s beaten the game the fastest as well as scores on the mini-games.
Machinarium will be available on March 26 for $6.99 USD.
