It's a matter of preference, imo. Would you rather have more attack? or more skill and stuff like that.

Personally, it is Lowen > Sain > Kent for me, but that is because I prefer the fact that Sain usually maxes STR.

I must admit I don't know why GM has Kent > Sain either. There's no join time difference, promotion difference or class difference. Meanwhile, Sain's offence is easily superior by a notable margain. I can't really see Kent's support list being better either.

Perhaps I'm missing something, but I don't see what Kent has that makes him better.

And what makes Lowen better than both of them?

He is more balanced.

Kent does have higher health, skill, speed, defense, and res growths. Plus his support offers avoid whereas Sain's only has Crit avoid.

Still, I would say that Sain is better due to the offense. Maybe put them as Sain = Kent

Both Kent's and Sain's support list are bad. :/ Kent's only good supportee is Sain, and apart from Kent, Sain's other supportees are more likely to support other people.

Spd is sorta big lead for Kent, even if it's marginal. That extra 1~2 Spd allows Kent to DA (read: have better offense against) more enemies.

But I'm fine with Kent < Sain either way. :/

EDIT: Lowen has ****ing awesome supports. That, and he exists for most of the earlygame.

Say, are we counting in the first 10 chapters? The ones for Lyn? Cause if that's the case, Sain and Kent exist for 10 more chapters. Oh,and.. are we basing this on a ranked run?

Lowen's tanky, and his existance earlier means a lot when there are a lot of fragile units. I'm happy with Lowen being higher (even though I've never used him past recruiting Kent and Sain).

GM, I don't really see speed winning for Kent here. If speed were that important Lowen wouldn't be winning anything. Not to say Sain's win are as pwnage, but then that's why Sain isn't where Lowen is.

If that speed difference regularly makes a difference then there might be something to it, but the thing is that Sain wins when both double and Sain wins when neither double, so Kent's needing a good portion of enemy units that he doubles and Sain doesn't, but such a small gap isn't giving that scenario much chance.

That said, the difference overall is minimal, and I'd be quite happy to look at some other placings regardless of what decision is made here.

HFS, what they do in Lyn's mode isn't considered, since this is a Hector Hard Mode tier list. We can consider units in Lyn's mode having the benefit of being at a higher starting level than their normal bases would state (except Wallace, probably), but that's about it.

And yeah, HHM doesn't include LHM. Except that we assume that LHM was S-ranked so that we get another Silver Gem from Lyn.

Yeah, it's ranked. That's why Matthew is so high and why Dart is so low.

Is really Marcus better than Canas, Lyn and Heat? I know he can tank at the beginning, he helps funds by not promoting, but he just doesn't help the exp rank and is not really common that he 1HKOs units to help the combat rank. And he becomes useless after mid game, where you should have better units to tank and fight than him.

Marcus is needed for HHM survival in the Earlygame. Lyn kills 20K promoting, and is the weakest Lord. Heath isn't that good at anything really. Canas needz more Speed and Con, 'cause Dark Tomes are WTFheavy.
