Origin of Usernames

The thread I necro'd got me thinking of this. x3

How did you come up with your username?

Mine is what it is because I was a noob at Call of Duty, and my favorite gun at the time was the UMP45.
Of course, it was my best gun, so I added 'master' at the end of it. Being the cool kid I was, I figured capital letters wouldn't matter in a username, which I pretty much regret. xD

If I were to change mine at all (which I desperately need...), I would probably change it to 'Ump45.'

It's my surname.

Like, 4 or 5 years ago, I was joining GaiaOnline, and I couldn't think of a cool username, so I thought it was cool to just put two random words together. Ever since then, any site I've joined I've called myself by squiggle bath.

Well, I started up in the PMD:Sky forums so I just used the name my team had. The reason for the team name is Totodile=Water=Hydro and Riolu=Aura. I actually like my username and have no idea what I'd change it to if I could. Being called THA ain't so bad... XD

There were a FEW threads on this, I'm pretty sure. x3 But honestly I don't think there's anything wrong with repeats as long as it hasn't been like only a week since the last thread. xD _{plus I like telling my story :3}

When I was in about 3rd grade, I saw my friend drawing in class, so I wanted to draw too. I made my mom buy me a little sketchpad, and at first I drew little fake pokemon, but I ended up wanting to draw a comic, _{and since I was into Captain Underpants books at the time...I drew Captain Underpants comics. x3} Then, when that got old, later that year I wanted to draw my own original comic, so me and about 4 friends each chose characters for ourselves, such as Kirby, Sonic, and some made-up characters (I chose Kirby, of course :3), and the characters formed the Chaos Team, which the comics would center around. The action-packed Chaos Team fought against the infamous Dr. Eggman, Megaman (who was once a part of the team but quit or something...xD), and others, but eventually somehow turned to just being a comic book for fun and laughs read by a lot of my peers that I have a lot of fun writing. :3 The main times for writing/drawing them were around 5th-8th grade, and now that I'm a Senior I don't really have much time to draw them anymore. xD (I usually only get the creativity spark to draw them at school), BUT the Chaos Team has stuck with me pretty good ever since. :3

A few years back, my school login account thing in the computer lab was acfielder, the first initial of my first and middle names, and last name. As always, if you've got a baseball or farm joke, kill yourself painfully. They've all been done before. I kept missing the C and typing axfielder. The second I saw that, I loved it and that day when I got home I became AxFielder223 on my Xbox profile(it wasn't until months later that I would get access to XBL itself and solidify it forever as me). I chose 223 because I love the way two-two-three sounds to say, and I felt it added to the name. When I found Neoseeker, I, of course, used my aforementioned online identity as my username. I quickly grew tired of the numbers since they just made my username longer for no discernible reason, so when I learned about the free change-5-characters-in-your-username-for-free once per year thing, I hopped right on it and became Ax Fielder, a much less retarded version of my name. A few months after that, Red offered outright free name changes(I think for the new year or something, but I don't know), so I hopped right on that and took my last name out, adding the E because Axe looks better than Ax, and because I thought the minimum character count for a username was 3. Everyone always referred to me as Ax anyway, so it wasn't a stretch at all. I'm generally Axe, AxFielder, or some variation anywhere I register, since I like the name and don't care enough to find something new to change to.

I wish my story was better. Something like, "I was riding a unicycle to my job at the testosterone factory when I was ambushed by the entire Colombian air force. Thinking quickly, I used my trusty unicycle that also doubled as a nuclear bunker as cover as I ran into a nearby blade factory. I scanned for anything that would help me against fighter jets and attack helicopters, but the only thing I could find was a shipping crate full of battleaxes. I chained one around my arm and equipped a jetpack I found laying around, then leapt through a skylight and engaged in melee combat with the most advanced aerial vehicles known to man, destroying them all without breaking a sweat. Just as I contemplated the sheer greatness of the day's victory, the jetpack ran out of fuel and I plummeted to the earth. The axe I was wielding landed first and in such a way that it tore my arm off and fused into my shoulder joint, giving me full control over it as a limb. In a fit of inspiration, I rushed home to my 5-acre gold-plated chocolate mansion and registered on Neoseeker as Axe."
