Nah, the game works fine. It's just the game is extremely difficult.

Oh my goodness, this is the most annoying game in the world. All the invisible coin blocks making me fall down holes. I gave up because it was making me cranky.

Lies. You guys aren't doing it right. It is possible to get past the castle and win. There are about four stages.
