I thought Id start a little comedy bit on how you know you play way to much GT3 (not that its a bad thing) Please add if you think of any but heres some starters

1) You run the "like the wind" race for kicks and giggles
2) Your morning regimend starts with a quick shower and taping up your right thumb for additional padding
3) Your on the fifth PS2 controller cause the X button keeps sticking
4) You speed into work find a parking spot get out and yell "DAMN 3 Seconds off my best time"

and finally....
5) The cutest thing you've seen in days is that pink vitz

You know you've been playing too much when:

You can't go to sleep because the song 99 Red Balloons keeps running through your head over and over.

You pull into the tire shop, and you get annoyed when your cars doesn't just float into the air and all the tires just swap.

Your left stick on your controller actually had a groove worn into it. Believe me, i know

i dont care if i play it to mutch, games are made to be played.plus a game like this needs to be played all the time , crap around here we all( 10 people )race for money , for fun, but im getting rich$, lol , we drag and circut race lol , plus in my base ment i have 6 tvs and they all bring thir ps2's and we race like that to, with i link ($$$) just dont bet me hehe

Yeah, I think I wore out my GTA3 disc in a couple days playing it too much(or it was just a defect). But, I had been playing it for like hours and hours each day.

I play my GT3 a lot too, but have yet to wear it out. Probably won't happen, but it takes quite a beating getting played so much.

1: You write bad songs about tire wear, and post them on
the internet and on web forums.
2: You start refering to the cars in your garage as if they were real. (ie., You; Oh yeah, my 3000GT VR-4 could beat the pants off your little pissant Corvette any day!
Your older friend; Yeah, I guess you're...Hey! Wait a minute! You don't even own a drivers licence, let alone a car!
You; Um...yeah......)
3: You feel guilty when you play other racing games behind GT3's back.
4:You start to sleep durring the day so that you can race, unmolested, at 1:00 AM.
and 5: And hour or so after you get done playing GT, you get a low, bumed out feeling, and while you play it, you get a strange craving for pork rinds.

1) When you drive you go fast and take on corners like the game.
2) your eyes start to twitch because you were playing all day
3) You go through 2 game disks cuz you play so much.

...but some people have a real problem. IF someone actually sits inside all day long to play ANY video game, they have a problem. If you are an adult, go out and work for aliving, and maybe someday you'll actually be able to own a car and move out of Mom and Dads house. If you are a kid, go out and get some exercise, get in shape, talk to girls so the other kids at school dont think you are some super geek. After that, try studying so that you can one day get a job, and won't end up aloser adult like I described above.

Sure, the game is fun, and can be absorbing, but you gotta have other interests in your life other than video games.

By the way, the majority of people posting to this forum are over 18, and also are not in the habit of posting between 8 am and 6 pm Monday through Friday, GEE I WONDER WHY THAT IS?!?!?! Could it possibly be that, oh I don't know, they have to WORK? No, it coulden't be that, could it?

Everybody is entitled to their opinion. We're all adults here let's just keep on. Yes, this thread is ment to be for fun and if you don't like it you can always leave. Who are you to judge other people. Let them make their own choices just worry about yourself. While, to a certain point, I do agree with you it doesn't mean that all the people out there who enjoy staying home playing are wrong or have problems. I do think that games should be played with moderation but if you have the time and don't have a need to work then hell be my guest and play all day. Live your life and let others live theirs.

6: you start ot run the Licecnce Tests just because you haven't got any pressing races that need to be run, and to see how long it takes to beat the computers time.

I know this is an old thread but I couldn't resist responding to it. When I was reading these replies, I just sat here and giggled. lol I noticed that I, too, do some of these things. Like when I am driving, I drive just like in the game when I am taking..or "attacking"..corners and am using racing lines wherever I go. I realized this the other day and thought it was too funny! And when I get home from work, a lot of days I walk straight to the game and turn it on. I did this for weeks! lol But hey, at least we enjoy the game. Games are meant to be fun and this one sure is!

you know you play too much when you hit a wall dead on doing 200 mph, and actually die. (i wonder if that is just wrong to say?)
