Anyway, I know that you may think 'Oh that Black Mage guy sucks! He asks for stuff and never posts any settings back!' Well if you do I'm sorry, but I just suck at tuning cars. I can drive them, but not tune em'. So what I'm asking are some settings for the Pennzoil Nismo. If you don;t what that is, it's the yellow car in the Nissan section. Don't feel guilty, that's why this thread is here. Anyways, I'll take on this request... expect something later today.

As requested....
Pennzoil Nismo GT-R JGTC
HP: 934 Max Speed: 215 mph 400m: 10.5s 1000m: 18.1s Laguna Lap Time: 1.18.1
All Performance Parts Purchased Slick Tires
Spring Ratio: 14.8 / 13.0 Ride Height: 48 / 48 Shock Bound: 7 / 7 Shock Rebound: 5 / 5 Camber Angle: 2.0 / 1.0 Toe Angle: 0.0 / 0.0 Stabilizer: 2 / 3
Brakes: 13 / 22
LSI: 0 / 10 LSA: 0 / 40 LSD: 0 / 20
Auto Gear Setting: 36 Final Gear Setting: 3.550
Downforce: 0.60 / 0.85 ASM: 13 TCS: 5
This car was difficult to set up, because of it's high power and weight ratios. It always wants to slide, and getting it's power down to a point where the slide can be controlled was frustrating.
Instead I went for a sort of inner balance that would allow for this car to be used with lot's of different driving styles. If power slides are your thing, this car can still pull them off effectively. However, it can also be driven the "normal" way without too much difficulty.
It's not bad, but it's nothing special either. I'm better with untuned stock cars than I am with race cars, so I really don't know how this is going to work out....

ok, as requested...here are settings for the V8 Vantage and the Gillet Vertigo Race Car...enjoy:)
V8 VANTAGE
medium racing tires
spring rate - 10.5/14.1 ride height - 74/74 damper bound - 7/7 damper rebound - 8/8 camber angle - 2.0/1.0 toe angle - -0.5/-0.5 stabilisers - 2/3 brake balance - 11/18 LSD init -28 LSD acc - 34 LSD dec - 34 gear auto - 29 1st - 2.965 2nd - 2.034 3rd - 1.525 4th - 1.183 5th - 0.968 6th - 0.786 final - 3.905 ASM - 3 TCS - 7
right from the offset with this car, you notice that it is very much both underpowered and overweight! as with most astons, this is the case! the main aspect to driving this car well comes in the form of manouvering its huge bulk around the corners!!! but, overall...id only drive this car to look at it...as a racing tool it isnt the most effective for the moeny so to speak!!!

Mercedes Benz CLK 55 Old School Remix Settings
HP: 612 Max Speed: 205 mph (governed) 400m: 11.7s 1000m: 20.2s Laguna Lap Time: 1.22.0
All Performance Parts Purchased Super Soft Tires Stage 3 Lightening
Spring Rate: 12.0 / 9.5 Ride Height: 94 / 94 Shock Bound: 7 / 7 Shock Rebound: 5 / 5 Camber Angle: 2.0 / 1.0 Toe Angle: 0 / 0 Stabilizers: 2 / 3
Brake Balance: 18 / 16
LSI: 0 / 15 LSA: 0 / 40 LSD: 0 / 20
Auto Gear Setting: 33 Final Gear Setting: 2.750
ASM: 6 TCS: 3
I went for a fairly conservative setup here, one that would focus more of control than it would on speed. As a result the times for this car are a little slower than they could be, but it's worth the tradeoff for the fine control you get. The car is a little heavy, allowing for some sliding if that's your style.
This should be more than enough to take the two Mercedes Events.

No problem at all... this is why the thread is here. I'll take on these settings, but I will be busy this week (school starts) so give me until next weekend to finish them.

Nissan R390 GT1 LM Race Car
HP: 1181 Max Speed: 255 mph 400m: 9.8s 1000m: 16.6s Laguna Lap Time: 1.12.865
All Performance Parts Purchased Super Slick Tires
Spring Ratio: 15.8 / 14.3 Ride Height: 58 / 58 Shock Bound: 7 / 7 Shock Rebound: 5 /5 Camber Angle: 2.0 / 1.0 Toe Angle: 0 / 0 Stabilizers: 2 / 3 Brake Balance: 16 / 14
LSI: 0 / 12 LSA: 0 / 40 LSD: 0 / 25
Auto Gear Setting: 40 5th: 0.850 6th: 0.660 Final Gear: 3.425
Downforce: 0.68 / 0.91 ASM: 6 TCS: 4
This is an extremely high performance machine, in the top echelon of the S class. Until now I hadn't really worked with tuning race cars, but I think this one turned out extremely well.
The car has a lot of power, and when you're at nearly 1200 horses you need to be cautious about how you drive. The brakes may seem weak at first glance, but this was done because anything stronger would just lock the wheels. It's still a good setup, just allow yourself an extra quarter of a second braking time and you'll do fine.
The car handles well and the hard tires allow for a race situation. It can put out some impressive mid-level acceleration times (80-165mph) and it should consistantly perform well.
An excellent choice for any race.

I won this car, I liked the look or it, very slick ect. But I didnt realise that it was an actual racing car. You could ajust the downforce, and I know you can only do that on full racing cars, but you could do it on this. lol, I wouldnt have guessed.
Anyway, I bought all I could, which wasnt a lot, and started to fiddle with the settings. It was OK on its own, but it wasnt suited to my style, which is, fast and under control, and not alot of cars are like that. So I tried to make this one one of them.
And I came up with these settings, on the Complex String they smashed my times with Johnny's tuned RGT and Zonda C12. By an astonishing 15 seconds. I am really pleased with this car. And I know it will serve me well. If, like Johnny, you like drifting cars, then this isnt for you, it is very well under control. Very stable, and no signs of drifting, how I like it!
Feedback apreciated.

To be honest, I love this car, and since Kenji was taking so long, I decided to have a try myself.
Well without tuning, this car can win alot, but tuning it, I have won half the Endurance races, and more. This car has always been a fav and it by far has the most attention in my garage, also with the higest clock.
It is not the quickest off the start but once it gets going, S class cars will have a bit of trouble to keep up. A genuine racer for all types of driver.

If that's the case than it's a fault of your driving skills; and not my custome setups. Seriously though, I have done the Complex String in under 4 minutes with both my RGT and my Zonda; you just need more experience with them.
