Irrational Games released the second part of their Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus trailer series for BioShock Infinite today. Continuing the 80's-style docu-retrospective on the floating city of Columbia and everything related, the trailer yet again delivers an eerie look at BioShock Infinite's setting and lore. Today's focus is on the Songbird, which we've seen in gameplay before, but seems much more terrifying now.
We're getting to the point where Irrational has built such an atmosphere around this game where I can barely appreciate these rather amazing trailer for what they are. I just want the game. Every shortly, wonderfully crafted trailer is a poignant reminder that there's still another month and a half before release. Seriously, we've seen so much of BioShock Infinite that Irrational is just messing with us now, right? Jerks. I need to go read a book or something.
BioShock Infinite is scheduled for release (after a short delay) on March 26 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
