Ok, I've thought of an awesome idea for a competition, well it's awesome in my head.

Basically a royal rumble sort of thing, if we got every single member of the forum to take part it would be pretty epic. Now lets see if I can explain what happens. 4 players at a time take part in a network game hosted by myself and take part in a 4 team league the winners go through to the next round which is the winner and another 3 players and we keep going until everyone has been eliminated and the last person is the winner.

Participation is the only problem I could see with this. Many people won't be able to find the time to take part and therefore numbers could dwindle. Saying that, I'm sure many members will have the time over the holidays to be able to take part reliably.

The Royle Rumble style is a great idea shandy, just might be difficult to put into action

I reckon the idea of a tactics thread would be good, if people were to discuss their tactics and how to go about certain tactics and strategies to play with different sides. Could create some good discussion, would be better if it tempted people to be more detailed about it though considering people can use the analysis tab to show results from the tactic.
