THIS. Just play. when you use that gun,patched or not,after a while,you'll get used to it and rack up large kill counts per game.

Well, like I said earlier, I don't even see how it's used specifically to troll. Accurate but slow shotgun? Check. Use slugs that are even MORE accurate and add more range? Check. Put a scope on it? Check. Legit combo.

It's not like the automatic shotguns using the frag rounds and could kill people from around corners, those definitely needed to be toned down. The patch covered a couple choice weapons specifically, but it was because they WERE broken. They haven't touched the 870 because it's balanced, I think they said so in the patch notes.

The .44 scoped is a real 'trolling weapon'.

Someone camping on a rock across the map being absolutely no help to his team (attacker on rush *cough*) should be more rage-worthy than someone skilled with a shotgun. It takes more hits to kill with the shotgun at long range, and the slug has EXTREME drop, so any accurate headshots should be praiseworthy.

If the person being 'trolled' has no sportsmanship at all, then yeah, I guess I could see it being used that way.

This kind of outlook is OK most of the time, but game develpers make mistakes. More so now than ever before, so there will be occasions where a weapon is overpowered. The problem is gaming communities tend to piss and moan about so much that genuine problem cases get lost amongst the complaints.

The M26 DART is a good example, i am being one shot killed from full health from rediculous ranges. The worst part is its mostly experienced players using it NOT the noobs. Totally shameful and pretty desperate.

I refuse to use it.

Honestly, I'm using this trick and whilst it's helpful I do understand that this is a flawed trick because it unnecessarily increases damage. HOWEVER!
With issues like the frag rounds before, that was completely unnecessary. It is supposed to be used as a suppression weapon and obviously it has a lot of damage to it. Perhaps the best thing to do with it would have been to limit it to slower guns or lower the ammo limit.

Other problems I have are when people complain weapons are overpowered and then they get nerfed so bad that it takes a full clip to kill anyone. I reckon soon enough it'll take your entire ammo count to kill someone. >_>
