	well.......... i was running up the US hill on operation firestorm and i heard a gun shot hiss past my head. so being me, i laid and saw him as i took the shot. him being on the RU hill it missed and got some guy in the head behind the mountain. it recorded 1395m and 600 points and then i fell in love with this game.

	YEEES ! First off, i am a shit sniper. Im decent at medium ranges with semi-auto's and ACOG scopes but i suck at anything bolt action or with any highly magnified scopes. But this weekend i decided to start working my way through some challenges. I started the L96 one and first of all discovered that with an ACOG that gun is pretty awesome at medium ranges. I got 200 kills in one day and most of them were headshots. However i noticed you have to get a 350 metre headshot to complete the challenge and at the time my longest was just over 200m. "Oh shit" i thought. Anyway i equipped my L96 with a 12x scope and a bipod and headed off to Alborz mountain. Whilst pretty drunk and trying to show my GF how the game works i aimed from the large radar dome over to checkpoint B and marked an enemy. I was just showing my Gf how you had to use the lower scope markers due to bullet drop. I said the sentance "But at this range I have no chance of actually hitting him, never mind getting him in the...." BANG! Completely legit 618 metre headshot ! I'll never beat that. Im way more than happy with it. W00t W00t !!!

	The ranges are off on this game, definitely. It keeps throwing me off, firing at a guy who's easily 300 meters away, but the game only records it as 150 or so. So my longest headshot is about 200 meters (I don't have the stats in front of me), even though I know it was longer than that/ I use the M40A5 when I'm US, and SV98 when I'm Ruskie. Though I usually don't snipe when I'm Russian... I'm weird- I know. What I need to do is find some good hidey-holes and start setting up TRPs. ------------------- I'm the guy that consistently goes negative. You don't need to remind me.

Yeah, the very reason I went to Alboz mountain for that shot was that i was firing from the centre of the map in Gulf Of Oman to the top of the tower. I got a lucky headshot that was WELL over 350m away and it didnt give me it. I knew Alborz had HUGE lines of site so went there instead. Also, as i lay aiming over towards the checkpoint it clearly showed on my screen that "B" was 641 metres away. The enemy was standing on the far side of the flag meaning he couldnt possibly be any closer than that yet i only got a 618m kill. (Not that im complaining at all LOL, id have gladly accepted 351m). Glad it isnt just me thinking this LOL. Didnt want to post incase it sounded like some dodgy excuse.
