I've just unlocked the mortar and must admit that i find it quiet reasonable. if you sit in one place for too long popping out shells, an enemy mortar will drop on and kill you.

for everyone else, mortar rounds have little splash damage so you have to be sitting totally still for a while before the support guy can get a bead on you.

if you have to camp (recon or some support guys), then do it outside of mortar range (quite short) or with a roof over your head.

Battlelog is like Facebook for Battlefield players. That's really the best way I can put it.

It has like "Walls" you can post on, but it's actually really helpful. You can see what you have to unlock next, what level stuff that you're interested in unlocks, and all that good stuff.

Any stat you can think of will also be available. Platoons are a neat feature that you can join/create (basically similar to like "clans" or something) and then it'll tell you when those people are online or something like that. I have a couple Platoons I'm in, one being the Neoeseker one and another with friends from IRL.

Yeah, it's neat.

Also, brother bought MW3 for me, getting sick/annoyed real bad already. Battlefield/Gears here I come again.

I can confirm J917 problem. He messaged me asking if it showed his K/D but it was 0. He joined a game with me and he finished with something like 13 kills and 8 deaths, yet it was still 0

Not at all. It's by far the dominating console, so there was no question that it would beat the PS3 in sales.

I mean, it would have surprised me if the PS3 had out sold everyone, but the PC or the 360 wouldn't have surprised me a bit.

I'm also surprised by that. However, it just goes to show how much of a success Bad Company really was. And explains perfectly why the promo material for BF3 resembled a new Bad Company game more so than a new Battlefield game. EA knows what they're doing in the money making side of things.
