	Log in to remove this advertisement So when looking through the title list, occasionally I see the "After using Arte, Hold to Alter" message for some character's skills. But, I've tried this, and nothing happens. Am I doing it wrong or do I have to wait a bit or something like that?

	I just try holding O after I activate the arte. Should I try double pressing?

	You always have to hold the button after you use the arte. You also need to have enough CC for the next arte. Ex. For Asbel's Infernal Torrent -> Void Sword, you need to have at least 4CC (Void Sword's cost) after using Infernal Torrent to use it. ------------------- Play-Asia!

	I've never successfully altered an Arte, but I need to try it again. Last night, I dreamed that I was fighting a bunch and I altered a bunch of Artes, lol. Are the Altered Artes totally new Artes that you can't use in any other way? Or can you obtain the Altered Artes to use just like a normal Arte? -------------------

	It means you need to play more. Your subconscious craves more Graces. 	Hmm sounds pretty awesome. Don't think I have ever altered an art though? When I use an attack like Plasma Shock I always press the button again before it finishes and it does like a second part of it. 	That's not it. Every move has two different animations: the initial animation and a followup animation if you do the same move again. Altering artes turns one arte into another arte. For instance, if you alter Plasma Shock, Asbel should do Plasma Shock and then follow up with a different arte, which in this case would be Sparrow Seal. 	You can link it too. Plasma Shock -> Sparrow Seal, then if you're able to alter that attack, you can make it go Sparrow Seal -> Bestial Roar.
