	Log in to remove this sponsored message I found the 'Thresh's Seal' necklace (+1 Might, +1 Finesse, +1 Sorcery) on my nude guy yesterday - of all the accessories available, that was the one I wanted most on my Shadowcaster and never did find it To my surprise, I picked it up in a 'max level 25 dungeon' too; I would've thought an item like that would be right up at max level... ah well, it benefits nude guy anyway Have just visited a Fateweaver with him too, just for a slight change - since I now have full access to Smoke Bomb and actually plan to use it this time, getting some of my stealth related stuff up seemed like a good idea, so it's out with Frost Trap (which I seem to end up using less and less as I get higher) and in with Assassins Art Scattershot next -------------------

Ah, very true - that then combined with the Faction Twists of Fate would provide you with the full +2 over max to everything by itself I found it in Caer Tosai in West Kandrian, but it was random chest loot - I was lvl 29 at this point but the Dungeon maxes out at lvl 25, so it'll be an area around that level in which you'd be able to find it Would be kinda nice if they released info regarding at what levels each item can be acquired at, though I suppose that would be a huge amount of info, and kinda spoils the 'treasure hunting' element... Edit: I've also just found the 'Shield of Balance' (Finesse shield with +1 Might, +1 Finesse, +1 Sorcery) which I definitely didn't come across in my first playthrough either... so combining that with the Thresh's Seal, I'm all set for +abilities even without any of the Twists of Fate Found in Cynric Quarry, though a random drop and in a level 25 area once again. 	My, my. And yet another item that my Polymain needs to aquire. I am level 29 so I will be able to max out that dungeon, along with any others around Kandrian. On an off-topic note, that gnone in Mel Aglir who gives you the quest to "kill" the Kandrian ruler said Kandrian A LOT. And in a deep, hilarious way. Haha. I got so used to how he said it that every time I even think about the word Kandrian, there's the gnome. -------------------

My current character (second playthrough) is Almain - I kinda based him on somebody, so he therefore had to be human I just prefer being an elf though personally; much more interesting and I just feel more at home in the Amalur world playing as a more fantasy based character The description, general nature and lore of Dokkalfar then tends to relate more so to Rogue type characters (which is what I like best), whilst the Ljosalfar seem to be more Sorcery oriented. Also, despite it not mattering in the long run, I much prefer the Dokkalfar race bonuses than the Ljosalfar; Dispelling tends to be one of the last skills I put points into, whilst starting with 2 Stealth is great for a Rogue and a point in Persuasion is handy initially too. I'd say the same regarding Almain and Varani - starting with 2 Blacksmithing (and a point in Persuasion) is great, whist starting with 2 points in Lockpicking I couldn't care less about, so I'd probably only use Dokkalfar and Almain personally... I'm very much a Dokkalfar at heart though overall, as is Roxas I believe -------------------

	Started as a male Dokkalfar Assasin, I like to have the same gender in my character (Im male), but I made 1 quest unfinishable in Ysa and didn't have any recent saves so I decided to replay it as a female for some variety. Spoiler: I think it's caled "Uprising",you should kill a person take the daggers and destroy them, I have skipped the 1st step (stole them instead). Lv 30 Dokkalfar (female) Assasin Primary weapon: Daggers (with bleeding dmg) Secondary weapon: Bow (with lightning dmg) Shield: some buckler (don't remember) Armor: none (too many grey enemies) Neckles: (+ 1.5 health regen) Ring: (+60 life) Ring: (+20% life and mana) Skils: (in order I upgraded them) Detect Hiden - max Persuasion ->Dispeling - max (fateweaved, had to max dispeling for "House of Balads" quest) Persuation - max Stealth - almost max (9 I think) Money: 3,5 mil. Location: "Helmgard Keep" warsworn) on my way to "Emaire" (main quest, "The Great General") Used to sneak around and sneak kill with the help of smoke bomb. I don't sneak much now since enemies are currently easy enough. For trolls and other big stuff I use bows. Don't usualy use any potions (kinda forgot you can use them) or blocking (used 7 times altogether). I have the sustained finese abilities always on (Eenvenomed edge" and "Razor blades" I think). You are also very much correct. Every character that I have is tied to the occupations in my profile. Being an Almain is fun, but I find the Dokkalfar to be a much more interesting race to me. Artirtico pretty much nailed it by saying that a fantasy-based character is more preferable. I am a human, to my knowledge, so playing as a human-like character in a massive RPG such as this just does not appeal to me as much as a fantasy-based character does. -------------------

	I chose it cause one I like the Dokkalfar in general but at the same time the were the most beneficial to play as Sorcery. -------------------

	They do a great job in terms of Sorcery and Finesse. If it has not been done already, someone should make a Dokkalfar Might build. That would be different to see. -------------------

I can see a Dokkalfar Champion or Blademaster working in my head (though personally think that a Ljosalfar Champion and Varani Blademaster seem to fit best), but when it comes to a full Might Dokkalfar Warlord, just no, it seems so wrong Great to see more Dokkalfar players overall, particularly the custom title collection growing too haha! Looking good overall kalafus2002 and 'The Great General' Main Quest would be one of my favourite sections of the main storyline Regarding the 'blocking', it was something I pretty much never did for quite a long way into the game, just relying on dodging to stay out of trouble, but actually the 'shield parry' is a really effective move. I'm still not a fan of the basic shield block, but if you can nail the timing of the parry consistently, it can be so beneficial in both preventing enemies damaging you and instantly being able to strike back at them. It's particularly handy against enemies that have 'charge in' type attacks like Wolves - timing it against them isn't too tricky, and stopping them in their tracks makes them so much easier to kill. After a stage of forcing myself to try to get to grips with the shield Parry, I now adore it, and would hate to go back to not using it Super Squall very much hoping the 'Quest' to gain money is fruitful! You could always try giving yourself a couple of points in Detect Hidden and setting off for a trundle in the countryside; you never quite know what you might find in that random pile of rocks or hollow log! Hmm, I don't think I've actually written down any progress of my second character here before... this is gonna have to be from memory but why not: Race: Almain (Dokkalfar still rule) Level: 30 Destiny: Slayer Health: Around 800 Mana: Around 550 Gold: Around 5 Million Time Played: Around 50 hours Twists Of Fate: Harbinger, Unwritten One, Iconoclast Skills: 8 Blacksmithing, 8 Detect Hidden, 8 Alchemy, 8 Merchantile, 7 Persuasion, 6 Sagecraft, 4 Dispelling, 3 Stealth, 2 Lockpicking Current Abilities Primary Weapon: Pandemic (Mastercrafted Ash Longbow) additional 48 Poison damage, 20 Bleeding Damage, +34% total damage Secondary Weapon: Sustenance (Mastercrafted Sylvanite Faeblades) additional 15% chance to steal 25 Health, 15% chance to steal 25 Mana, +34% total damage Armour: IS BANNED, RUNNING NUDE Shield: Shield of Balance (+1 to Might, Finesse, Sorcery Abilities) Necklace: Thresh's Seal (+1 to Might, Finesse, Sorcery Abilities) Rings: Jade Ring (+15% ranged damage, +10% ranged crit damage, +10% chance to crit with ranged), some generic ring (+45 Health, +1.5 Health Regen per second) Currently just about to do 'Tywili Coast'.
