The actor was mum on story details, but said the new film will blow audiences away. He says, "You know that feeling when you first saw the original film, and you were so in awe, and felt so swept away and mesmerized by the sheer majesty of it all? I believe this premise has the potential to elicit that same kind of response. Out of all the concepts that have been created for these movies, this is possibly my favorite." First it was confirmed, now it's in doubts...True or not, I'll keep everyone updated. -------------------

	When I first say this thread I thought to myself, "You can'y be serious." A JP4? The first one was good enough for me. I hope its good, but I doubt it will be. Its one of those movies that no matter how terrible the 2nd and 3rd ones were, you have to see it because the 1st one ruled. ------------------- I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

	I really dont care either way I loved the first two, the third was basicly things that were in the first book but were not used in the movie for example the Pterosaur scene, and finding a boat.I think both books were way better than the movies because they had more detail, if they do make a fourth I would like to see Jeff Goldblum return, one thing I did like in the third were the raptors they should have more of them.

	the problem with jurassic park is that the first one was too good. the sequels are good movies, but once you compare them to Jp1 they suck. the 2nd and 3rd are pretty good action/adventure movies they are better then most crap I have seen lately, so I am sure the 4th will be worth seeing. -------------------

	More on JPIV The latest rumors on the next Jurassic Park. quote January 30, 2003 - It's been a few months since we heard anything about Universal's Jurassic Park IV, but new story details have just surfaced courtesy of Dark Horizons. The site received a message from someone who claimed to have recently visited Spielberg's offices.They scoop that the fourth film takes place 12 years after the first movie. Dr. Hammond's dinos have become urban myth – most people don't believe that they really existed. The drama begins when "previously unidentified lizard-like animals" show up in parts of Costa Rica, terrorizing the locals. A team of experts is dispatched to an island off the coast. There they discover that the dinosaurs are breeding at a remarkably fast rate, posing a threat to the nearby continent. There is, reportedly, much more to the story but the source wasn't able to uncover it. According the tip, Spielberg is "delighted" with the ideas for the new film, and wants to sign Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum to star. The scooper seems to think that JPIV will be a more of an "intelligent thriller in the vein of the original." Last we heard, author/screenwriter William Monahan (Fox's Tripoli) was working out a deal to pen the film's screenplay. Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy are producing. 	I find it interesting how they keep returning to elements for the original book to make these films. Has anyone else noticed that? Unidentified reptiles are part of what brought about the inquiring into Jurrasic Park in the first place, and it ended with packs of raptors beig reported in the mountains of Costa Rica attacking Chicken Farms because chicken is rich in Lysine. ------------------- "Seek not the men of old. 	Jurassic Park 1 was the best one. None of the sequals I found that good. It seems like they are just making these sequals for the sake of it. 	I liked the third film and thought it was really good but the ending was one of the worst endings ever. all of a sudden the military came to the island and that was the end of the film. -------------------
