I've already seen Dangerous Minds but thanks for suggesting that we all go watch it again.

It seemed to me this was missing something. It probably would have been better if they changed the script so it was R-rated, but instead it remains a PG-13 movie with a really awkward "*bleep* you" from the teacher. I also had an issue with the teacher.. she seemed too attached to the kids herself. The post-script said she followed some of them on to college. It's like she wanted to help as a first year teacher, but could only help her first set of students. The story had some nice aspects, but a lack of emotional depth.

The previews looked captivating. It looks like a promising movie. I can't wait to see it. It looked fantastic overall. Plus, Hilary Swank is a brilliant actress with an inspiring background.

There was a Mad TV sketch of this. As good as this movie is it was hysterical.
