The Truman Show - Page 2

Yea I think this is a great movie mostly because I love Jim Carey. (Saw the Cable Man the other day and thought he was hilarious, if not a little creepy)

I first watched this when i was pretty young and for a while I thought that I was in my own 'Truman Show'!

I wonder what my viewers will think when they read this post...

Watched the movie for probably about the 4th or 5th time in my life just now. I appreciate just how clever it is moreso now, than I did before I think. Sure, first time viewing is the best but every time you watch it you get something more out of it.

It really is a clever movie.

You gotta know if they ever remake it, they'll probably make it more sci-fi, or grittier or some other such thing >_>

But even though he escapes, it isn't like his life won't be a mess. I mean, not only is he still world famous, but he has only an inkling of how the world really functions. His world is, for the most part, idealized. There were no a-holes in his Show life, little in the way of poverty, or in prejudice. He's in for quite a culture shock.

I rather liked the music towards the end too.

Although the movie ended well, I wouldn't mind seeing that TBH

It would be a bit meta if they made it a TV series though XD

I love this movie very much, and I like Jim Carrey.
