quote Shadowfax of Rohan on Page 6
I'm surprised LA hasn't given his view on the film yet...
That's because I haven't seen it yet

Well, that is until Oct. 28 when the DVD was released

My theater pissed me off because they only kept this film for less than 2 weeks, and I didn't have a chance to see it until it was too late (Between getting the night off for work and finding someone to go with since no one I knew wanted to see this film) >_<
I'd have loved to have seen this at theater....it is my new and absolute favorite Comic-Film EVER! All you morons who bitched about it being tedious, slow (dare I say) "completely boring" need a good swift kick in the ass....Ang Lee did a *bleep*ing fantastic job bringing the Hulk to life! The story moved along very smoothly; bringing to life the characters, providing that much needed background information as well as keeping the film entertaining enough to watch over and over again is not an easy task, but I believe Ang Lee did just that. The flahsbacks were done nicely, they weren't redundant with each revealing more pieces of the puzzle, and the cinematography was nicely applied as well. Last but not least, lets not forget the Hulk himself...The CGI was *bleep*ing insane! Huge props to the animation team, once I had saw the Final Trailers I knew Hulk was going to look awesome!
For the "He doesn't hulk out 'till after an hour" is bull...it's roughly 42 minutes after the opening credits when you see him completely Hulk out, not an hour. Even then you're still given a few bits of "Hulk" here and there before that. Once Bruce completely "Hulks" out, the film indeed does pick up more, I'll give most of you that. Each time he goes on his rampage, I get goosebumps. I loved the fight with the Gamma-dogs; but my favorite is after he first Hulks out and throws Glenn Talbot out the window. As Hulk jumps out of his home and sees Glenn hanging over his railing, the expression the animators gave Hulk is pricless, especially just shortly after he kicks Glenn to the curb

The other two major battles are worth mentioning as well; I loved the humor when Hulk was fighting the tanks as well as the choppers...and again, the facial expressions on the Hulk are *bleep*ing pricless!! But the fight between his father is jaw-dropping. Again, nicely done and awesome special effects!
So before I ramble on even further, I would just like to say "*bleep* all you skeptics/haters out there who are too ignorant to understand this film was strictly made for the fans and Ang Lee and Marvel both believe they did just that in pleasing the "true" fans and could care less what Hulk did at the Box Office!". But speaking of sales...The Hulk DVD sold 2.5 million units in it's 1st two days of release, how's that for all you skeptics!....Bring on Hulk 2, Lee.

I give The Hulk: 10 out of 10
