Movie hall of shame - THE WORST MOVIES OF ALL TIME - Page 20

Watched 'Birdemic' recently (don't know why), and NOTHING COMPARES! It has the most laughably dragged-out scenes/camera work/performances in a film I have seen so far and on top of that, mid way through the film your greeted to the 'special effects' of the birds themselves, which make for some hilarious action scenes, even still, the scenes drag on for so long you begin to lose the will to live.

I'm just being harsh to what was clearly a filmmaking for dummies tutorial, for some kid who had a camera and a dream to replicate Hitchcock's The Birds.

Just avoid that shit.

That's probably because Troll 2 was an actual movie made with money. Birdemic is not.

Watching those clips reminds me how hard it is to make a movie, and that even The Room, regardless of how terrible the acting and script is, is at least competent film making.

Then again, The Room had a budget of $8,000,000. Birdemic had a budget of $10,000.

The point here is in creative choice, if you don't have the technology available to make convincing special effects, your film will look stupid when you use animated gifs.

• = I'm stuck to call this a game or movie, because the entire thing is like a movie with multiple endings and QTEs.

How can you say that about Cannibal Holocaust or the August trilogy? They are simulated snuff films, people watch them for the gore, not for the plot or anything like that. I've talked to the director of the August film series before and he even said it's just snuff entertainment.

for me Captain America was such a big disappointment and especially because of the money invested in it. Seriously now when he want's to jump from the car and catch the plain and the girl stops him to kiss him....come one can you create a bigger cliche ?!
