	Watched this movie for about the 7th or 8th time the other day, and I still say this movie is bleeping sweet. It has a bunch of eye-rolling cheesy lines, but overall damn this movie kicks ass. So much so that I'm boycotting the new one. bleep you, Marvel, for not taking Jane back, for going in a new direction, and for (I'm assuming) acting like this first film doesn't exist. 	Marvel wanted Jane, it was Jane who opted not to come back, a year or so ago to pursue other projects while this film was in limbo. So enjoy your boycott. I'll be sure to tell you all about how bleeping sweet the new movie is compared to this cheeseball fest. -------------------

	More like no direction. He pulled out when the film was in limbo and they were in-between scripts. He stated he didn't want to pour years of his life into a project that is going no where, plus at the time the current script idea was shit. So he opted to not reprise the role. A little while after departing ways is when things started to go the right course again with the film, but sadly it was too late to convince him to come back. Cue replacement, or as Marvel's calling it, a reboot. -------------------

	which is funny that he wouldnt commit considering generally everyone loved him as Castle. except for TLA apparently. if Jane was in the new one, i wouldnt be so against it, even if the stories didnt go together. pretending like this one doesnt exist is just stupid IMO. i would be fine if it was looked upon as a sequel.

	Excuse me? Go read through the thread. I was among a small handful that adored this film, going as far as to give it a 10/10. To blatantly boycott a new Punisher movie just because Jane isn't coming back is just plain stupid though. By that method of thinking, because I loved the cheese fest of the Dolph Lundgren version, I should have boycotted this film because Lundgren didn't reprise the role. As sad as I am Jane isn't coming back doesn't hinder my view that the new movie looks kick ass. It was supposed to be a sequel too, but without Jane coming back, it's more of a reboot now, a stand alone sequel. They wont ignore that the last film existed, but they wont mention it either. -------------------
