Daredevil/Fantastic Four Trades Coming Between FOX and Marvel/Disney?

First off, Variety reported that 20th Century FOX and Walt Disney Pictures were negotiating a deal that could send some key characters from Fantastic Four back to Marvel Studios, those characters being Silver Surfer, Galactus and Uatu the Watcher which had many sources speculating their appearances in something like the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. It's known FOX is planning both a reboot to Fantastic Four as well as Daredevil, which they already have Joe Carnahan (The Grey) in talks to direct the Daredevil movie with reportedly a great script with a '70's thriller / classic Frank Miller vibe to it. In return to this trade, FOX would get an extension on their reboot to Daredevil. Without an extension, FOX would have to start production on Daredevil immediately and begin production by October 10th, otherwise the rights automatically revert back to Marvel on the character.

Now Deadline did some digging and say Variety's sources are a little off. They say that FOX is actually looking at letting Daredevil go back to Marvel entirely and instead will keep Fantastic Four (along with related characters mentioned above) for their key franchise, instead focusing on those characters to equal out their success to the X-Men franchise. Deadline states FOX is reportedly interested in either co-financing Daredevil with Marvel and Disney, or just letting the character go. Either way, regarding their sources, Daredevil is coming under house to Marvel Studios. Giggity.

I found the F4 films fun enough for what they were, and I'm not fussed if and when they are rebooted.
Their characters, particularly the Surfer and Galactus, though, are a different matter.

I want a Planet Hulk movie. It can just be an in-canon future film, as there is no Banner to worry about.

I actually really liked the DD film (and Elektra actually), but didn't really like the F4 films... I would rather see F4 go to Marvel tbh, because imo (even though I know I'm a minority here) I thought DD was pretty good. But the F4 films were rather shit... Good cast though.

Anyway, I doubt Marvel could do a worst job than Fox at a DD reboot. So I'm excited.

I know, I know.. It wasn't amazing, for sure. But I still thought it was above the reception it got...

Of course, rights don't get sold in the first place for any reason other than money. But I'm sure Columbia and FOX aren't hating the money they're making off the franchises either.

Agree tat it suited Luke Cage a bit more than Daredevil.

On a side note, is it just me or is Ozymandias from Watchmen's costume similar to Luke Cage's original costume...

I got a kind of 'Question' vibe from it. More mystery than superhero.
