Cinema Lounge: Day 25

Final ORC impressions: Took me just under 6 hours to finish on casual. I never got a single S rank. Still have to get an S rank on all levels, and finish all levels with an S+ rank on professional, which seems impossible considering how hard some parts were even on the easiest setting. I ran away from a few battles because I had no shot in hell.

Biggest gripes: Your AI teammates are dumb as *bleep*, they get in your way all the time. Some lazy game development, e.g. your shadow looks like something from PS1. And what's with a complete lack of cutscene during arguably the biggest moment of the game? What the *bleep*? Really? Really?

Darknet knows what I'm talking about.

All in all, I enjoyed it. I'm eager to play through it again, just maybe with human teammates. Reviews are right that it's not as good as it could be, but it's not the trainwreck or "bastardization of the series" that some claim. Time to get into multiplayer.

You could just change the thread title to (Rumor) then if two different site confirmations isn't good enough for you, or at least bother telling someone why their thread is gone instead of being like "he can figure it out for himself what's going on." It's not like you have to delete 50 threads a day, takes 10 seconds. You say you want to encourage discussions but I don't want to have to sift through talk regarding another overhyped Pixar release to discuss the film I find relevant, so what was the benefit exactly of combining the two threads? One was about a specific film, whether it turns out to be the next in line or not, and the other was about 3 unannounced films.

We have a Black Panther thread (which you made) but that hasn't been announced yet, why is that still around? All it has in it is a note about a writer being hired. The GotG thread had that information and more, but it's not ready yet? I wouldn't have to "whine like 99% of this site" if you were consistent.

I'll describe it using a basketball analogy. Carmelo Anthony is dubbed one of the league's elite superstars, yet he can't play defense at all and has never made it out of the first round of the playoffs.

I think he's great offensively but does he really deserve all the praise he gets?

Anyway, so that's why I feel how I feel about Pixar. I hope this analogy clears that up.

I started AC1 the other day and it's boring as hell. When I have some free time to play video games I actually talk myself out of it because I know that I have to play Assassin's Creed. So I go do something else instead.
