We look forward to watching him re-imagine yet another classic character." Murphy needs to give up on kid films and go back to what he was best at, adult comedy. This is going to end up like The Smurfs and Alvin and the Chipmunks. So basically it'll get sequels and people will make it a success. Blah. sigh... Another one of my childhood cartoons gets the big screen treatment. LEAVE THE MEMORIES ALONE!

	Eddie Murphy is not the right guy to voice this. You need an old black man. That is pretty much what he sounded like in the cartoon. Hated the cartoon, but I will defend the bleep out of it to stop this movie. Stop touching god damn classic cartoons. What's next, Space Ghost? Birdman? The Herculoids (could be awesome)? Atom Ant? In which he played several people in one movie, like Nutty Proffessor, with different voices and characteristics. When you think of him doing the voice of Hong Kong Phooey, you might think of him when he did the voice of Mushu in Mulan or Donkey from Shrek. I'm also kinda thinking like that, but if he stays kinda true with the character and style of voice of how Scatman Crothers portrayed Hong Kong Phooey back then, then it might be good. He does have the right speaking quality to kinda match the way phooey talks, all he needs to do is make it sound a bit older. lol, I bet Spot the Cat is probably voiced/vocalized by Frank Welker. -------------------

	The cartoon years ago was amazing, very funny... You dont get them type of cartoons/writing anymore and if they were to bring out this film or are going to they would need alot of good acting,storyline and writing... Cartoon and film are different but the cartoon has such a good reputation we dont want to ruin it with the film. We dont want it like Batman, One good film, a few okay cartoons and the rest are awful... This is going to be hard work I hope it becomes a good film...
