I'm with you on that. Wasn't thoroughly impressed by the trailer, but it's still early yet. Here's hoping the next one draws me in more.

Yeah I got my hands on the trailer. Took some screens. Sadly I don't have Photoshop on the super laptop I own. But I wouldn't mind upping them.

The First Person free-running scene is a preview of what Next Gen console graphics have in store. Hopefully.

This. While I watched it I thought, "is this mirror's edge?"

I'm alright with it starting over. The second and the third spiderman movies suck. Just, please let them do venom and do it right this time.

Honestly?

I don't think lousy is the right word, because from a purely artistic point of view, I get it and understand what they are doing. However, as a viewer, from a purely entertainment point of view, I also don't share the common love for that FPS like action. To me, I want to see a big Spidey on my screen swinging around with acrobatic grace, not have some dizzying camera shot of a wall and the undersides of surfaces he is crawling on.

Again, I think we are in the minority on this one, but I don't like it either.

I had high hopes for this movie since the last Spider-Man trilogy is a god forsaken mess I would much like to forget. But, Aafter seeing the trailer I have to say this movie doesn't look like it'll be too good, either. And I agree on the first person running sequence looking lousy.
